Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Gabi Hernandez DiMera (last played by Camila Banus) may be looking for revenge when she finally gets out of prison. DOOL fans know Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) is involved in a fake affair with Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun), but it’s teetering on the edge of a real one since they kissed when nobody was watching.
It seems like some genuine attraction is starting to develop, so that can only end in terrible news!
Days spoilers confirm that a Gabi recast is in the works, so we have to consider what’ll happen once she’s free.
There’s a good chance Gabi’s going to find out about Stefan’s betrayal with Ava, which could turn into full-blown cheating if this keeps up.
Gabi may divorce Stefan and wash her hands of him down the road, but that won’t be enough to make him pay.
It’s clear that Gabi is the kind of Days character who likes to get true vengeance, so she may take things even further when it comes to making Stefan suffer.
For starters, Gabi might try to scheme her way to the DiMera throne again or at least make sure Stefan gets knocked off it.
There’s also the potential for Gabi to team up with EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) on a plot against his brother.
Although Gabi hates EJ – especially for his part in putting her in prison – she may decide she hates Stefan more for making her so miserable once she got there.
Stefan got tangled up in Clyde Weston’s (James Read) drug operation, which resulted in Gabi’s broken leg.
Now Stefan’s cozying up another woman, so Gabi’s revenge may be mostly directed at him – at least in the beginning.
EJ holds Stefan partially responsible for Holly Jonas’ (Ashley Puzemis) ordeal and generally just doesn’t get along with him.
There’s just too much bad blood, so EJ might be willing to put his issues with Gabi aside if it means making Stefan pay.
Of course, there could still be some conflict between Gabi and EJ along the way, but Gabi has a habit of falling for DiMera brothers when she’s clashing with them.
Days viewers can’t forget that Gabi hated Stefan once upon a time, but she wound up marrying him.
Gabi was also involved with Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) – and she’s been paired with Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) before, too. There’s just something about those DiMera brothers that draws Gabi in!
Could it be time for Gabi and EJ to sizzle next? That’d be a surefire way to get under Stefan’s skin, so it’s a possibility to mull over.
EJ and Nicole DiMera (Arianne Zucker) have already faced a ton of struggles, but more are coming up – and that could leave their marriage vulnerable to Gabi.
Naturally, Gabi could turn the tables and get revenge on EJ in the end if she wanted to. Blowing up EJ’s relationship and then leaving him single would do the trick.
Regardless, Gabi will inevitably score her release and stir up a world of trouble once the recast debuts.
So far, it still looks like Cherie Jimenez is the most likely contender when it comes to who’ll play the new Gabi.
