Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) may soon realize it was a mistake to provoke Clyde Weston (James Read). Clyde was already having a rotten day on the February 6 episode due to the news about the warehouse drug bust.
That raid cost Clyde a lot of money in lost product and resulted in the demise of one drug dealer along with plenty of arrests.
Clyde definitely wasn’t in the mood to deal with Chad and Everett Lynch’s (Blake Berris) taunting – nor did he take kindly to their threats about taking him down.
However, Clyde offered some threats of his own in that meeting and made it clear that he could go after the people Everett and Chad care about.
Although Everett brushed off Clyde’s comments, Clyde has proven that he’s more than willing to follow through on any threat he makes.
With all that in mind, we can’t ignore the timing of the imminent Horton house fire.
We finally have an expected airdate for that blaze since Days spoilers point to it happening on February 12.
Of course, that likely means the fire will first break out in the February 9 episode as part of this week’s big Days cliffhanger.
Chad will end up in grave danger along with Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher), Charlotte DiMera (Autumn Gendron), Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) and Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes).
Will Clyde be to blame for the Horton house going up in flames? Chad will certainly have to suspect that after Days offers up this sizzling, smoky twist!
In the aftermath of the fire, DOOL fans can expect Chad to give Everett updates on what happened that night.
That’ll probably lead to Chad confessing that he thinks Clyde delivered the fiery order.
Thankfully, Chad and his kids will make their way to safety along with Julie and Doug, so look for all of them to stay with Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) once the house is too damaged to live in.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say the Horton home will have to undergo some serious rebuilding and remodeling, so stay tuned.
