Days of Our Lives Spoilers: John Accepts Prison Punishment But Konstantin Switches The Pawn On Instead?

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that John Black (Drake Hogestyn) will struggle over the news that he supposedly caused the demise of Konstantin Meleounis’ (John Kapelos) daughter, Catharina (Ellie Patrikios).

DOOL fans can expect John to get updates from Konstantin first, but he’ll be skeptical of the con man’s claims.

However, John will buy the story once he overhears Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) telling it to Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) next.

That’ll send John’s world spinning out and force him to accept the fate he believes he deserves.

John will decide to turn himself into the authorities and face his punishment – presumably in Aria since that’s where the crime occurred.

During the week of March 18-22, Days spoilers say John will fill Marlena in on his plans and insist he’s going to confess to the cops just as soon as he apologizes to Konstantin.

Of course, Marlena may question how John can confess to something that he can’t remember.

Perhaps Marlena will add that this could implicate Steve and urge John just to let the past stay buried.

Nevertheless, Days spoilers say John will feel like he has to take some responsibility for his actions, even if he can’t remember what went down.

Maybe John will argue that if he can’t make charges stick for Catharina’s fatal outcome, then he’ll just confess to helping Clyde Weston (James Read) escape and go to prison for something else.

As for Steve’s part in all this, John may be determined to keep his buddy’s name out of it either way.

It could be a situation where John is convinced that he belongs behind bars – regardless of how he makes that happen.

Days spoilers say Konstantin could have other plans since he’s got a unique revenge plot in motion.

It’s clear that Konstantin is craving more than just traditional justice at this point.

Konstantin wants to be able to use John as his personal pawn, but he can’t do that if John’s locked up in a prison cell.

That’s why Konstantin might take drastic action and switch John’s programming back on to stop him from going to the authorities.

Could something happen to John while he’s in “The Pawn” mode that somehow triggers his memory of that day with Catharina?

There are good reasons to think John might actually be innocent since no one actually saw him pull the trigger.

We also know John will work to clear his name in Greece down the road, so something will obviously change his mind about his guilt sooner or later.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say John has quite a journey ahead of him, so we’ll deliver more predictions as he searches for the truth.
