Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) were planning on getting married at St. Luke’s this Valentine’s Day, but Paulina Price’s (Jackée Harry) surgery schedule got in the way.
Since Paulina’s nodule is getting bigger, there are concerns about her cancer being more aggressive than her doctors originally thought.
As a result, Paulina’s surgery was bumped up, which is good news since she’ll have peace of mind sooner.
Unfortunately, Paulina faced an unlucky break since the only surgery spot open was at the same time as Chanel and Johnny’s wedding.
Since Johnny and Chanel told Paulina they’d delay their nuptials, she now assumes they’ll figure something out after her procedure.
However, Days spoilers say Chanel will go along with Johnny’s secret plan and pull off a surprise for Paulina instead.
Once Valentine’s Day arrives in Salem, Paulina will deal with guilt over the postponed ceremony and wish she wasn’t standing in the way of Chanel’s remarriage to Johnny.
Soon after, Days spoilers say Chanel and Johnny will shock Paulina with a wild wedding change – one that brings the nuptials straight to her.
Whether they do it in the hospital chapel or right by Paulina’s bedside, it seems she’ll have a front-row seat for Johnny and Chanel’s vow exchange.
DOOL fans know this isn’t Chanel and Johnny’s first rodeo when it comes to tying the knot since they did it once before in Italy.
Johnny and Chanel aren’t hung up on all the fancy details of a second wedding and already agreed to keep it small, so Days spoilers say they won’t mind a very intimate gathering at the hospital.
For Chanel, making sure her mom watches her tie the knot is what matters most, so Johnny will help make that dream come true for both Paulina and his bride.
It may not be the most lavish event that Salem has ever seen, but there’ll be a lot of heart behind it!
