Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) is being pretty “chill” about the mess Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) has dragged her into. It’s not like Joy had time to develop any real feelings for Johnny prior to their one-night stand.
This was simply a case of two people enjoying a few drinks and a romp in the sack.
For Johnny, it was also about getting revenge on Chanel DiMera (Raven Bowens) for an affair with Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) that never actually happened.
Of course, Johnny now realizes he was so very wrong about that! That’s why Johnny is desperate to hide his hookup with Joy and avoid what could be the final straw for his fed-up wife.
Chanel managed to forgive Johnny for all the insulting things he said during their misunderstanding, but she put him on probation.
One more misstep and it could be the end of Johnny’s marriage to Chanel!
Naturally, Johnny’s time between the sheets with Joy would certainly qualify as that misstep if Chanel knew about it.
Now it’s just a matter of when and how Chanel will find out the horrible secret Johnny’s keeping.
We can think of one way Days might make all this even more complicated. What if Joy ultimately fears she’s got Johnny’s bun in the oven?
Joy might be late and start dealing with some other familiar warning signs – like morning sickness.
It’s easy to imagine Joy fainting on set or running out of the room to toss her cookies during a scene with Chanel.
DOOL fans know Chanel lost a baby not too long ago, so that would make Joy’s potential pregnancy even more hurtful.
Chanel would be both heartbroken and furious if she found out Johnny was the father.
Regardless, Joy might deal with some pregnancy symptoms and wind up taking a test to confirm things one way or the other.
This could kick off a terrible new chapter of this Days story and set the stage for Johnny to lose Chanel in the end.
