Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that there’s been a lot of talk about Jude Brady’s upcoming christening, which was delayed due to Nicole DiMera’s (Arianne Zucker) trip to Italy with comatose Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis).
Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) may not be romantically involved with Nicole anymore, but they still care about each other.
Since Nicole would hate to miss Jude’s special day, Eric convinced Sloan Petersen-Brady (Jessica Serfaty) they should postpone it.
Sloan currently looks pretty magnanimous in this situation since she gave Nicole a pass for snatching Jude and has agreed to delay the christening for Eric’s kidnapper ex, too.
However, looks can be deceiving on Days – and that’s certainly the case here since DOOL fans know Sloan actually stole Jude from Nicole with Melinda Trask’s (Tina Huang) help.
Speaking of Melinda, she’s been named Jude’s godmother and will definitely have a spot at this christening.
Leo declared himself Jude’s godfather, but Sloan assured Eric that Leo was only joking.
Nevertheless, Days spoilers say Leo might decide he’d like to take on that role for real and force Sloan to talk Eric into it.
At this point, Leo can pile on the demands and cause Sloan to bend over backwards trying to make his dreams a reality.
Sloan can’t take the risk of her secret coming out, so she has to keep Leo as happy as possible.
Even if Leo doesn’t push for the godfather title, he could at least demand an invitation to Jude’s christening.
Then again, Leo isn’t someone who’s ever really needed an invitation!
Since Leo is constantly showing up places where he doesn’t belong, we won’t be surprised if he simply crashes the christening instead.
Leo might argue that since Eric is his photographer and Sloan has served as his lawyer, they’re practically family in his eyes.
Perhaps Leo will contend that he’s grown attached to little Jude and couldn’t miss such a significant event.
Since Leo loves messing with Sloan, Days spoilers suggest he might get everyone’s attention for a huge announcement at the gathering.
Leo could leave Sloan in panic mode and make her fear he’s going to publicly expose her secret right there in the church!
Of course, it doesn’t look like the truth about Jude will come out that soon, so Leo might create another “gotcha” moment for Sloan and announce something else instead.
Maybe Leo could play up what a wonderful mother Sloan is and add to her guilt.
Leo could also offer up some cryptic clues that Nicole, Eric or someone else might pick up on.
It could lead to some puzzle pieces coming together down the road, so stay tuned for updates on any hints Leo might provide.
Regardless, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Jude’s christening could bring some Leo chaos and surprising news when the time comes.
