Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Monday, January 8, reveal that Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) will get a shock when he realizes Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) is still in Salem. Tripp said a heartfelt goodbye to Wendy and expected her to leave for her flight to Hong Kong, but something obviously stopped her.
Wendy was clearly pretty broken up over leaving Tripp behind, so maybe she’ll admit she’s rethinking her move to China.
Although Wendy’s parents need her, she also has her own life to live and will have to keep that in mind.
Over with Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn), he’ll grow suspicious over Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) and Ava Vitali’s (Tamara Braun) involvement in the Salem drug scene.
Days spoilers say Chad will decide to launch a grilling session, so both Ava and Stefan will face plenty of questions.
Next on Monday’s DOOL episode, Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) will spend some time reconnecting with Everett Lynch (Blake Berris).
Everett may apologize for kissing Stephanie on New Year’s Eve since that certainly went against their friendship agreement.
That said, Everett might admit it was nice to lock lips again after all this time. Stephanie clearly kissed back, so Days spoilers say she may offer reassurance about how their night played out.
Although Stephanie isn’t ready to commit to being a couple again, she’ll like the idea of growing closer to Everett and connecting on a deeper level again.
Other Days spoilers say Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) will conceal her health issues, so she may get some troubling test results and hide them from those closest to her.
If Paulina gets updates that confirm she has cancer, she may not tell Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) and Abe Carver (James Reynolds) right away.
Paulina may want to keep things as normal as possible for as long as she can.
That could lead to Paulina brushing bad news under the rug – at least until she can process it herself.
Of course, Paulina will also pretend she’s perfectly fine when it comes to any public appearances she might make as Salem’s mayor.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Paulina will put on a brave face, but she’ll secretly be worried about the road she’s headed down.
