Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for the next two weeks, December 9 to December 20, reveal that Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens) will put Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) on the hot seat now that she’s caught them facing off.
However, Chanel will remain out of the loop on Johnny’s betrayal during the week of December 9-13.
EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) will do his best to help Johnny, but his plot to get Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) out of town will get derailed.
That’ll be thanks to Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow), who may cause problems when it comes to breaking Joy’s contract.
Kate might even make a convincing case for why Joy should stand up for herself and renege on her agreement with EJ.
At the Horton house, Jennifer Horton Deveraux (Melissa Reeves) will tell Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) about the jewelry theft, so Julie may fear Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) was right to suspect Steven Olson (Stephen Schnetzer).
Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso), on the other hand, will have her eye on Doug Williams III (Peyton Meyer) and may have a hunch that he swiped the necklace instead.
As for Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart), he’ll cross paths with a familiar face. Kerry (Derek Yates) is a guy who Leo almost had a fling with back in the summer, but he wound up turning this Lady Whistleblower groupie away.
Since someone got into Leo’s laptop and leaked juicy Body & Soul storylines, could Kerry be to blame?
Time will tell, but Leo and Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon) will share some interesting scenes with Kerry.
Over with Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans), Days spoilers say love will be in the air as they do a little reminiscing together.
Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Ava Vitali’s (Tamara Braun) feelings will deepen as well, so Belle Black (Martha Madison) will get an unpleasant surprise when she learns they’re going on a date.
In addition to Belle’s fears about this mismatch, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) will certainly disapprove. Look for Kristen and Ava to exchange slaps as they let hostility erupt in the town square.
Since Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) will be interested in sticking around Salem, he’ll accept Jada Hunter’s (Elia Cantu) offer to return to the police force.
Sarah Kiriakis (Linsey Godfrey) will also help Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) with a workout and give him a pep talk ahead of his court battle with Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier).
As for Philip, he’ll feel guilty for duping Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) about the letter forgery, but he’ll try to hide any discomfort.
On another note, Tate Black (Leo Howard) and Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) will grow even closer.
It looks like Tate will declare his love for Holly and get the ball rolling on their first time hitting the sheets together.
In Vancouver, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will console Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) since it may look like all hope is lost when it comes to her hostage mom, Catharina Meleounis Greene (Susan Elena Matus).
Soon after, Days spoilers say Catharina will make some DOOL appearances, so maybe there’s still hope for her to get out of this Clyde Weston (James Read) mess alive.
Aaron Greene (Louis Tomeo) will get some news regarding Catharina’s outcome, so let’s hope Cat has some positive updates in the end.
In the meantime, Clyde will unleash his fury when he realizes JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) and Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) have been acting as decoys.
Although Clyde will pull a gun on Gabi, JJ will score the weapon at some point and try to save the day.
However, Gabi will gain control of that gun eventually, so maybe she’ll save JJ when his own rescue goes wrong!
As for Cat and Chad, Days spoilers say they’ll also land in a dangerous situation.
Chad will threaten to pull the trigger on Clyde, but Cat may fear Chad’s going down instead.
At least one gunshot will go off, so could this bring an end to Clyde’s reign of terror?
During the week of December 16-20, JJ and Gabi will process everything they went through together.
Gabi and JJ will ultimately end up sharing a bed again – and this time, they’ll do more than just sleep in it!
Back with Chad and Cat, they’ll experience a thaw in their relationship thanks to what they were able to survive.
Chad may not want to admit he’s falling for Cat, but that should be happening soon.
Finally, Doug could land on the hot seat if someone catches him with the stolen necklace. Will Doug face accusations and his possible arrest?
