Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that more details are coming out about a surprise popup in the show’s season 60 promo. The video offered a glimpse of someone giving Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) a shock in the cemetery, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
It looks like Peyton Meyer is set to make his debut in this mysterious role during the week of December 2-6.
However, it may not take long for that mystery to unravel once Meyer’s character introduces himself to Julie.
Following Doug Williams’ (Bill Hayes) funeral, Julie will spend some time by his gravestone as she tries to say goodbye.
On December 4, Julie will reel as Doug shows up right in front of her.
It’s possible Days will work some soapy magic to allow Doug to appear to Julie in spirit form, but we’d say something else is going on here.
Since we’ve got that promo clip as proof of someone shocking Julie, maybe Peyton Meyer’s character will also be named Doug.
It makes sense if Meyer’s going to be playing Doug’s long-lost grandson – and there are good reasons to think that’s the case.
Doug had a biological son named Douglas “Dougie” LeClaire, who was conceived following Doug’s sperm donation as part of a surrogate program back in the 1970s.
Perhaps Peyton Meyer’s character is “Dougie’s” child – making him Doug’s grandson and a possible namesake as well.
On December 5, Days spoilers say Jennifer Horton Deveraux (Melissa Reeves) will stumble across Julie and Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) as they offer up some family stories to someone who’s new in town.
We also know Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) will be suspicious of a fresh face who comes on the scene.
It sounds like Hope will have her guard up when it comes to Meyer’s DOOL character and may question his true motives for showing up in Salem now.
