Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) is ready to hit the ground running in his new career path. Since Rafe has some experience in private investigating, we can see why Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) snatched him up as a field operative.
Steve is no doubt glad to have Rafe as part of the team – and Rafe’s glad to have landed on his feet so quickly after quitting the force.
It seems like a win-win, but Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon) recently made a troubling prediction about Rafe and Jada Hunter’s (Elia Cantu) conflicting investigations.
DOOL fans may recall how Javi brought up a telenovela he liked – one where a couple faced disaster because one was a cop and the other was a PI.
It led to them interfering in each other’s work, so that’s probably the path Jada and Rafe are headed down now.
Days seems to be dropping huge hints about the next obstacle for Rafe and Jada, so this could be something that puts their engagement in jeopardy.
It’s easy to see PI Rafe botching Jada’s case in a critical moment.
There might be some situation where Jada is closing in on a perp and loses him because Rafe spooks him.
Perhaps there’ll be opportunities for Jada to blow things for Rafe too if she brings a bunch of backup when he’s trying to fly under the radar.
Whatever the case, Black Patch and the Salem PD could inadvertently sabotage each other.
Days spoilers suggest Jada and Rafe’s romance could face some bumps in the road as a result, so it’ll be interesting to see how things turn out for them.
Will Rafe and Jada’s relationship survive the test Days has in store for them? Will Javi play love doctor when things start spiraling out of control?
It looks like Javi will continue to be involved in all his cousins’ business, so both Rafe and Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) need to be prepared!
