Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Colin Bedford (Jasper Newman) was shipped off to prison instead of facing a grim fate. There must be a reason why Days writers kept Colin alive, so maybe he could come back and wreak havoc again.
DOOL fans will recall how Colin blamed Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) and Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) for the demise of his parents, so he came to town for revenge and manipulated Talia Hunter (Aketra Sevillian) into helping him.
Of course, Colin ultimately got arrested once his vengeful plot blew up, so Sloan Petersen-Brady (Jessica Serfaty) served as her brother’s lawyer.
However, Sloan couldn’t keep Colin out of prison, so he may be stewing about that behind bars by now.
Perhaps Colin has convinced himself that Sloan wanted him out of her hair and didn’t try hard enough to keep him free.
It’d be easy for Days to sell that idea by showing a prison visit where Colin was cold and harsh.
Then again, maybe the tension could creep in regarding Jude Brady if Colin asks about him.
Sloan might dodge questions and seem cagey, so Colin could angrily assume she thinks he’s too messed up to ever meet or even hear about his adopted nephew.
Colin has always craved a family, but his parents are gone and things could get rocky with Sloan. At some point, Colin might decide to get revenge on Sloan by escaping and stealing Jude!
It could be Colin’s way of making Sloan pay for letting their relationship fall apart and not using her legal skills to keep him out of the slammer.
Once Colin fumes over the happy family Sloan’s created with Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) and Jude, he may decide to blow it up and create a new family of his own.
Colin might plan to go on the run and be Jude’s new adopted father, even if he’s the last person who should ever be raising a child.
Sloan would feel guiltier than ever if her problematic brother escaped from prison and ended up stealing the baby she already stole first!
It could make Sloan feel even more terrible for putting Jude in that situation instead of letting him be raised by Nicole DiMera (Arianne Zucker) and EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) or even Nicole and Eric, who’s the true father.
Will Days make Sloan’s mess even worse with a new abduction story? Will Colin make a prison getaway and steal Jude once he takes his freedom back?
