Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that AnnaLynne McCord will make her debut as a new character named Marin down the road, so we should think about who she might be connected to in Salem.
We know that Marin will be on a mission to win the heart of one particular mystery man, but we actually want to focus on a possible family member.
After all, it’s pretty common for a new Days character to arrive and eventually get relatives on canvas.
Marin could easily have a family link in Salem that’ll ultimately be revealed. Based on Marin’s look, we can’t ignore the potential for her to be related to Sloan Petersen-Brady (Jessica Serfaty).
There’s enough of a resemblance for Sloan and Marin to play sisters, so that’s an option to consider as we await Marin’s first Days appearance.
Sloan has only ever mentioned her brother, Colin Bedford (Jasper Newman), but what if she’s got another secret sibling?
Although Sloan acts like she has no other family, that may not be exactly true.
In real life, plenty of people cut siblings out of their lives and have nothing to do with them.
What if Sloan simply washed her hands of Marin after they had a falling out?
Sloan might’ve declared that she didn’t have a sister anymore and pushed Marin out of her mind completely.
That could set the stage for major DOOL drama if Marin shows up in Salem and walks back into Sloan’s life.
Of course, there’s another possibility if Days writers don’t want to take the estranged route.
We know Sloan’s father, Nathan Bedford, had an affair with Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens), but there were probably many other affairs over the years.
Marin could be the product of one of them, so maybe Sloan isn’t even aware that she might have a sister out there.
That revelation could come into play once Marin hits town, so it’s at least something to mull over.
