Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Tuesday, January 2, reveal that Clyde Weston (James Read) will deliver a new demand that catches Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) and Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) off guard. It’ll involve some shady drug business that adds to the risks that Stefan and Ava are already taking.
Meanwhile, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) will intervene when Tate Black (Jamie Martin Mann) can’t handle all EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) questions and accusations. Days spoilers say Brady will claim the drugs belonged to him since EJ doesn’t believe Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) scored them herself.
To protect Tate from charges, Brady will insist he’s responsible for the pills and will be taken down to the police station for an interrogation.
However, it’ll be obvious to Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) that Brady is trying to prevent even more trouble for Tate.
At John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) townhouse, their New Year’s Eve celebration will be interrupted by Tate and Theresa Donovan’s (Emily O’Brien) news about Holly’s overdose.
Days spoilers say Marlena and John will also get updates on Brady’s new legal dilemma, but Tate won’t like the idea of his father lying to the cops. Tate will argue with Theresa, who’ll feel like her son needs to keep his mouth shut and let Brady take the fall.
Nevertheless, Tate will ultimately resolve to march down to the Salem PD and take the heat off Brady. If anyone’s going to be arrested, Tate will insist it should be him.
Next on Tuesday’s DOOL episode, Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) will grill Ava about all the suspicions surrounding The Bistro. Tripp will put Ava on the hot seat as he questions her about whether she’s involved in all the drug drama.
Back with Stefan, he’ll have a fierce faceoff with EJ. Days spoilers say EJ will demand answers about the bad batch of drugs and may assume Clyde’s product is what Holly overdosed on.
EJ and Stefan’s confrontation will escalate by midweek, so they’ll give Everett Lynch (Blake Berris) plenty to overhear when he comes along and does some eavesdropping.
As for Holly, Days of Our Lives spoilers say she’ll remain in a coma for now – and that’ll bring some tough moments for Nicole DiMera (Arianne Zucker) and all her other loved ones.
