Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Wednesday, January 1, reveal that Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) will confirm she’s still on board for a date with Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier), so they’ll lock in their New Year’s Eve plans and prepare to head to the DiMera celebration.
Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) will line up a date of his own when he convinces Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) to attend the DiMera party with him as well. Since Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens) will be the ones throwing this bash, that’ll certainly bring some awkwardness for Joy and Alex.
However, Alex’s mind will mostly be on Stephanie’s growing connection with Philip. Days spoilers say Philip and Stephanie will ultimately share a kiss in front of Alex, so he’ll struggle with some moments of jealousy on Wednesday’s DOOL episode.
Joy, on the other hand, may deal with guilt and growing fears about Chanel discovering her hookup with Johnny. Talking about their night together will ultimately be Johnny and Joy’s downfall since Chanel’s about to overhear that something happened between them.
That’ll lead to Chanel angrily demanding answers, so Johnny will get backed into a terrible corner.
Other Days spoilers say Belle Black (Martha Madison) will deliver a shocker to EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), so it sounds like she’ll admit she’s his replacement. Once Belle officially accepts the DA offer, she’ll probably be glad to rub her victory in EJ’s face.
Next, Days viewers can expect JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) to extend an invitation to Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez). Although Gabi won’t be thrilled about the idea of attending a party held under EJ’s roof, JJ will convince her that they can still have some fun there.
Of course, Arnold Feniger (Galen Gering) will have to throw Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) off the trail now that she’s noticed his wardrobe change. As Arnold poses as Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering), he might claim he’s trying out a new look or that he spilled something on his previous outfit.
Whatever the case, Jada may continue to notice some weird changes in “Rafe” as they spend more time together. Arnold has a very different personality, so Jada will inevitably find some things about “Rafe” to be a little off.
