Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Wednesday, May 8, reveal that Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) and Nicole DiMera (Arianne Zucker) will work together on the new story that Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) assigned, but they’ll make time to discuss some personal matters as well.
Sloan Petersen-Brady’s (Jessica Serfaty) name will come up during Nicole and Eric’s conversation, so Eric may admit he’s doing his best to work things out with his wife.
As for Sloan, she’ll speak with Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) over the phone and hope that the paternity truth is enough to convince EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) to keep his mouth shut about Jude Brady.
Sloan will face a waiting game, so she’ll try not to worry herself sick as EJ decides his next move.
Days spoilers say EJ will put a rush on some new DNA results, which will eventually reveal that Sloan was right about Eric being the biological father of Nicole’s baby.
That’ll indeed give EJ a reason to keep his mouth shut and protect his marriage soon enough.
In the meantime, DOOL fans can expect EJ to cross paths with an upset Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman), who’ll tear up as he updates his dad on Chanel DiMera’s (Raven Bowens) pregnancy.
This baby news has really thrown Johnny for a loop, so he’ll admit there could be birth defects due to the radiation that Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) exposed Channel to.
Days spoilers say EJ will share his advice on the situation, so he’ll push Johnny to see that there are too many risks involved.
EJ will urge Johnny to talk Chanel out of going through with the pregnancy, so Johnny will have a lot to mull over.
Next, Louis Tomeo will make his first appearance as Aaron, a buddy of Tate Black’s (Leo Howard) and a teen who’s crushing on Sophia Choi (Madelyn Kientz).
While Aaron tries to get Sophia’s attention, she’ll mostly be focused on dreamy Tate and her desire to attend prom with him.
Once Sophia confesses that Tate prom date goal to Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis), will Holly finally admit she’s an item with Tate?
It’s possible Sophia is simply putting her bestie to the test since she raised an eyebrow over Tate racing to return Holly’s notebook.
Sophia may be trying to pry a confession out of Holly, so we’ll see if her potential efforts pay off.
Other Days spoilers say Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) and Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) will uncover something stunning in Gil Carter’s (David S. Lee) black book – the one that Clyde Weston (James Read) ordered them to retrieve.
Now that Ava and Harris have that black book in their hands, they’ll look inside and realize there’s some incriminating evidence in there.
That evidence could help exonerate Gabi Hernandez DiMera (last played by Camila Banus) when it comes to Li Shin’s (Remington Hoffman) demise and perhaps point the finger at Gil eliminating Li on Clyde’s orders.
