Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Cherie Jimenez) will have to move on from the love of her life. Although Gabi was starting to think maybe a reunion was possible, she won’t be getting back together with Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) after all.
Just when Stefan had decided to fight for Gabi, an intruder pounced on him and made him a drugging victim.
That intruder was Ivan Marais (Ivan G’Vera), who’ll continue doing whatever Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) tells him to – including driving restrained Stefan off somewhere in a car trunk.
It’s a bummer since it seems like DOOL was setting up Stefan’s eventual return with a departure like this.
Unfortunately, Brandon Barash doesn’t seem very interested in making a comeback based on what he told Soaps.com in his exit interview.
Of course, it’s possible Stefan will return someday in recast form or if Days makes Barash an offer he can’t refuse.
However, it’s also possible Stefan will simply become a forgotten DiMera of the past.
Either way, Stefan’s exit may leave fans with questions that never get answered. As for Gabi, she’ll inevitably get updates on some bogus Stefan news.
Vivian may resort to divorce paper forgery and convince Gabi that Stefan went overseas to find himself.
Gabi would search for Stefan if she thought he was in trouble, but Vivian may make her believe he wanted as far away from her as possible.
Although Gabi will need some time to heal her broken heart, Javi (Al Calderon) may help his cousin out with that.
It’s easy to imagine Javi serving as Gabi’s wingman and helping her put herself back out there.
That said, the door is open for Gabi and EJ DIMera (Dan Feuerriegel) to have a real romance with Stefan gone.
EJ and Gabi might move beyond all the revenge drama of the past and realize they could build a real future together.
Gabi will certainly never forget the way EJ came to her rescue after the DiMera cellar explosion.
Some genuine feelings have developed, so Days may keep building EJ and Gabi’s bond.
Then again, someone else might come along and steal Gabi’s heart. JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) remains a romantic option since he has more Days material coming up down the road.
Our predictions hint that Gabi will also throw herself into Gabi Chic, so she’ll remain an excellent businesswoman no matter how things play out in her love life.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gabi will have to get used to a world without Stefan, but she’ll bounce back and thrive in time.
