Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) will come home from his run and find that Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) is still eager to heat things up with him.
It seems Xander will finally decide he can’t fight what they’re both feeling since DOOL’s promo for the week of February 12-16 shows him getting steamy with Sarah in the shower!
However, Days spoilers say things could take a shocking turn when the cops show up with some tough questions later.
Xander wasn’t on board when he got a mysterious phone call from someone trying to hire him for an elimination plot.
There’s too much at stake for Xander now that he’s a dad to Victoria Horton-Cook – not to mention he doesn’t want to cause any major setbacks with Sarah.
Unfortunately, Days spoilers suggest Xander will fall under suspicion for multiple reasons, including the cryptic texts on his phone and his criminal history.
Of course, Xander went out in running clothes at the exact time Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) was shot by someone in running attire, so that won’t help him much!
Harris seemed to recognize the perp before he took two bullets, but his memory may be fuzzy when he awakens.
Days spoilers hint here may also be witnesses who saw Xander running in the area, so none of this will add up to good news.
Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) might even give the police a statement about Xander, who came to him with updates on that elimination job we mentioned.
Xander assumed EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerrriegel) wanted to hire him, but what if it was Stefan instead?
After all, Clyde Weston (James Read) never needed a voice distorter to deliver orders to anyone else, so why would he suddenly need one for Xander of all people?
It’s possible Stefan himself is behind the crime if he went that far to get Harris out of the picture – or maybe he found a backup hitman like potentially dirty Officer Phillips (Brian Molina).
Whatever the case, Stefan might take the opportunity to try and pin everything on Xander to divert suspicion away from himself.
There’s a good chance Xander will ultimately get arrested, but how will Sarah react once that happens? It’d be nice to see some growth in Xander and Sarah’s relationship, so this could be a great way to show it.
Sarah might tell Xander that she believes he’s telling the truth and that he’s genuinely changed.
From there, Sarah might try to prove Xander’s innocence or at least make sure he’s got an excellent lawyer to fight the charges.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say some difficult legal drama is coming up, but Xander’s name should be cleared sooner or later!
