Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Thursday, August 22, reveal that Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) will refuse to accept that his marriage is over, so he’ll make another passionate plea for forgiveness.
Stefan will apologize profusely for hurting Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Cherie Jimenez) and hope they can somehow find a way past his betrayal with Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun).
Of course, Gabi won’t budge on forgiving Stefan at all, so Days spoilers say she’ll blow up at him again in front of an ecstatic EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel).
Since EJ blames Gabi and Stefan for ruining his marriage to Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker), he’ll take great pleasure in watching them head for a divorce of their own.
EJ will do some gloating and pour salt in the wound as Gabi rejects Stefan’s plea.
At some point, Abigail DiMera (AnnaLynne McCord) – or at least the woman who’s supposed to be her based on the DNA results – will cross paths with EJ.
That’ll bring an exchange of introductions as EJ wonders if Abigail really has no recollection of her old life at all.
Days spoilers say a memory flash is coming up before the week winds down, but will it be a real one or just a lie “Abby” sells as part of a plot?
Whatever the case, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will have a lot on his mind regarding Abigail and this whole mess, so he’ll confide in Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) and receive some support.
Meanwhile, DOOL fans will get confirmation that Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) is still alive despite the drugged tea Connie Viniski (Julie Dove) offered up.
Melinda lost consciousness, but she’ll still be breathing as Connie tries to take another step toward eliminating her.
Our Days predictions point to Connie getting sidetracked by some other challenges, so we’ll bring you updates on any troubling news ahead.
Connie will remain a threat to anyone who stands in her way, so she’ll make more unhinged moves in the coming episodes.
