Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Thursday, August 8, reveals that Paul Narita (Christopher Sean) was worried about John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and still had questions about his kidnapping ordeal. Paul also shared his concerns about Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), so Andrew Donovan (Colton Little) distracted him with passion and a pep talk.
Next on Thursday’s Days episode, Andrew got confirmation over the phone that EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) signed off on Theresa Donovan’s (Emily O’Brien) plea deal, which meant she only had to spend six months in prison.
In the town square, Tate Black (Leo Howard) lied to Brady about coming back to Salem because he was concerned about Theresa’s jail time.
Brady apologized for not calling Tate about the news and admitted he was feeling overwhelmed lately.
Tate understood and thought he should stay in town, but Brady insisted he had to go back to lacrosse camp.
Meanwhile, Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) stopped Sophia Choi (Madelyn Kientz) from approaching Tate and Brady. Once Holly dragged Sophia away, she promised her check from The Bistro was coming and handed over her tips, too.
Since Holly was working Sophia’s shifts and doing what they agreed, she didn’t understand why Sophia was acting this way.
Sophia clearly enjoyed making the pair miserable and worked a new angle by asking if Holly and Tate had “done it” yet.
Once Holly said it was one of Sophia’s business, Sophia knew that meant she hadn’t hit the sheets with Tate.
Holly suggested Tate was stressed over everything happening with Theresa, but Sophia said maybe he was gay or that he’d lost interest in Holly.
After Holly defended her romance and stomped off, Sophia looked mischievous.
Back with Andrew and Paul, they ran into Tate and Brady in the town square.
Tate was relieved to learn Theresa was only looking at six months behind bars and said goodbye to her off-screen at the Salem PD.
Over the phone later, Tate lied to Brady about being at the airport to catch a flight back to lacrosse camp in New York.
Once Theresa was transferred to Statesville, Tate met up with Holly and offered updates. Sophia once again looked devious as she watched Holly and Tate head off to catch the ferry.
At the townhouse on Thursday’s Days episode, John reunited with Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and was unsteady on his feet.
Although John already got checked out at Poplar Bluff, Marlena made him get checked out again.
John had a happy reunion with Paul and Brady at the hospital, but he was short on answers when Marlena asked him about his kidnapping.
However, John hinted that maybe his ordeal was somehow tied to all the Abigail DiMera (last played by Marci Miller) drama.
In Poplar Bluff on Thursday’s DOOL show, Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) examined the bracelet Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) found in that room.
Chad couldn’t remember for sure if Abigail was wearing if when she was attacked, but he knew it belonged to her.
Although Chad thought this was proof that Abigail had been there, Jack wasn’t as sure since Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) stole some of Abigail’s jewelry for Clyde Weston (James Read).
While Chad and Jack were debating all this, the mystery woman (AnnaLynne McCord) eavesdropped outside the door.
Once Jack and Chad heard a noise, they confronted the mystery lady and learned the bracelet belonged to her.
Unfortunately, this woman couldn’t remember where she got it and didn’t know who she was.
She said she was in a terrible accident a couple years ago that required facial reconstructive surgeries, but she woke up with memory loss and didn’t know if this was how she was supposed to look.
The mystery woman identified Clyde as the man who explained everything to her in the hospital.
Clyde claimed that bad people came after her and could still pose a threat, so he took her to Poplar Bluff where she’d be safe.
Rebecca Goldman (Christy St. John) eventually helped take care of the mystery woman as she continued her recovery, but then she disappeared along with Clyde.
The mystery woman got tired of waiting and recently left to look for Clyde and Goldman, so Chad and Jack guessed that freed up the room for John.
Chad admitted that based on timing of Abigail’s ordeal two years ago, the mystery woman could be his wife.
Jack backed Chad up and said she could be his daughter, but the woman struggled to wrap her head around all this.
Although the woman thought this might be a trick, Chad and Jack swore they wouldn’t harm her. They just wanted to help this woman find out who she was, so they pushed her to come back to Salem with them.
The mystery lady finally agreed on Thursday’s Days episode, but she warned that Chad was a dead man if he tried to hurt her!
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Jack and Chad will try to get to the bottom of this woman’s true identity, so stick with us for more predictions on whether she’s really Abigail!
