Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Thursday, July 11, reveals that Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) stopped by Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) townhouse and offered updates on Robert “Bobby” Stein aka Everett Lynch’s (Blake Berris) claims about Li Shin’s (Remington Hoffman) case.
Jada wanted Marlena’s proposal opinion on whether Bobby was stringing her along for visits or actually had information, but Marlena admitted there was no way to know for sure.
Meanwhile, Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) pumped the brakes with Kerry (Derek Yates) and decided he didn’t want to sleep with him since he just wasn’t feeling a spark.
That ultimately led Leo to Marlena’s door, so she found out what happened and wondered if he was still hung up on Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte).
Leo worried he might never be attracted to another man, but Marlena reassured him that he’d find love again and ended up watching RuPaul’s Drag Race with him.
At Bayview, Bobby had a flashback of spotting a distraught Connie Viniski (Julie Dove) covered in blood.
Connie muttered about being so sorry and said she didn’t mean to do it as Bobby eavesdropped that night.
Back in the present, Connie showed up and admitted to doing some eavesdropping of her own.
After listening in on Jada and Rafe Hernandez’s (Galen Gering) conversation, Connie knew that Bobby had info regarding Li’s case.
Bobby played dumb at first, but he eventually spilled what he knew about Connie’s involvement and made it clear that he wanted to keep using it to pull Jada closer.
Connie pointed out that Jada’s boyfriend would be a problem since as soon as Bobby blabbed, Jada would be going home to Rafe’s bed.
However, Connie felt there might be a solution that’d work for both off them.
Bobby seemed intrigued, so Connie suggested she could take care of the commish if Bobby left her name out of this.
In the cemetery on Thursday’s Days episode, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) were stunned to see that Abigail DiMera’s (last played by Marci Miller) casket was empty.
Rafe arrived to investigate a potential grave robbery since it was possible this was a hoax orchestrated by Clyde Weston (James Read).
After Rafe declared it a crime scene, he vowed to have forensics look into it.
Jada quizzed Rafe and debated the situation with him – including the possibility that Abigail’s body was moved and the option that it was never in that coffin to begin with.
Rafe joked about Bobby helping with this case too before apologizing for being insensitive. Jada pointed out that she planned to pay Bobby another visit and hopefully score real answers about Li’s fate.
At the Horton house on Thursday’s Days episode, Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) stopped by to see Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) since she hadn’t been able to get in touch with Chad.
Julie explained that Chad was at the cemetery and revealed that Jack hadn’t reacted well to the exhumation initially.
Once Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) appeared on Thursday’s DOOL show, he found out about the possibility that Abigail was still alive and admitted it’d be wonderful if it were true.
After Chad and Jack spread the empty casket news at the Horton house, they took another look at the mystery woman (AnnaLynne McCord) footage.
Chad felt it was even more important to find that woman now since there was more evidence that Abigail might’ve survived.
Julie also took a moment to reflect on her romance with Doug over the years and suggested that their love outlasted time, so they shared a kiss during Bill Hayes’ final Days episode.
