Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Thursday, November 14, reveals that JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) came blowing in the Horton house, where he ranted to Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) about EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) letting Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) off the hook.
Once Cat appeared, Chad admitted he asked her to come and that he was the reason EJ dropped the charges.
JJ was furious and confused, but Chad explained handing Cat over to Clyde Weston (James Read) was the only way to get answers about Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) remains.
However, Chad assured JJ that he didn’t actually intend to surrender Cat, so JJ realized he was using her as bait.
This was far too risky as far as JJ was concerned, but Chad pushed JJ to keep his mouth shut so they could avoid tipping off Clyde.
JJ insisted he couldn’t do that and argued that unless they wanted him to put it in skywriting, Cat and Chad wouldn’t go through with this.
After JJ decided he couldn’t be in the same room with sadistic, disgusting Cat anymore, he stormed out.
In the town square on Thursday’s Days episode, Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) found Aaron Greene (Louis Tomeo) looking glum.
Aaron gave Holly updates on all his family drama, so he was thankful to get it off his chest.
Holly also shared how she patched things up with Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) and wished she could’ve done the same with Tate Black (Leo Howard).
Aaron admitted it was kind of his fault that Tate moved on since he told his buddy to go for it with Sophia Choi (Madelyn Kientz).
After Holly spilled the news about Tate sleeping with Sophia, Aaron was taken aback and suggested that’s not what he meant!
Aaron was just trying to tell Tate to follow his feelings, so he apologized for his role in swaying things.
Holly didn’t blame Aaron and felt Tate would’ve done what he wanted to anyway.
At the townhouse on Thursday’s Days episode, Tate looked at a picture of himself with Holly on his phone before Sophia came to the door.
Sophia quizzed Tate about Holly and clearly didn’t want to be her runner-up, but Tate insisted he wanted Sophia and kissed her.
Once Tate and Sophia took things to the bedroom, Tate was kissing her neck when he muttered Holly’s name.
Sophia pulled back angrily and demanded to know what Tate just called her!
After Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) left to deal with some Salem PD business, Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) joined Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) at his pub table.
Roman pushed Rafe to be honest about the fact that he wasn’t happy about his demotion.
Rafe finally admitted that was true, but he didn’t think there was anything he could do about Paulina Price’s (Jackée Harry) choice.
Roman argued that Rafe could sue the city since the Salem PD had an obligation to give him his position back after he was injured on the job.
Rafe made a prediction about it being too messy, but Roman didn’t want to see Rafe resent Jada and derail their new engagement.
At the Hernandez house on Thursday’s DOOL show, Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) wanted to make a special dish to celebrate Rafe’s return to the police commissioner job.
Jada told Gabi about Paulina’s decision and acted like Rafe was OK with this.
Gabi argued that Rafe just said that for Jada’s benefit and was no doubt struggling deep down.
Likewise, Gabi thought Jada needed to be honest since part of her must be thrilled to be Salem’s first female Black commissioner.
Once Rafe came home later, Jada filled him in on her chat with Gabi and confessed that part of her was indeed excited by the job.
Even so, Jada didn’t want this to come between them – and neither did Rafe.
That’s why Rafe announced that he was quitting the force, which caught Jada off guard toward the end of Thursday’s Days episode.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Jade may voice plenty of objections soon, so stay tuned.
