Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Thursday, November 7, reveals that Chanel DiMera (Raven Bowens) continued to give Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) the cold shoulder, so he reminded her that she forgave him. Even so, it was hard for Chanel to move past the hurtful things Johnny had said.
Johnny delivered another heartfelt apology, so Chanel acknowledged that it could’ve been worse and was glad neither of them actually cheated.
Although Johnny said he had something to tell Chanel, he chickened out of confessing that he slept with Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins).
Instead, Johnny simply promised that from this day forward, he’d never do anything so hurtful again. After Johnny suggested breakfast for dinner at the pub, Chanel liked the sound of that.
In the town square on Thursday’s Days episode, Joy wrapped up a meeting with Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) and turned her own attention to Nancy Miller (Patrika Darbo) as she arrived.
Nancy had to get back to New York soon, but she warned Joy not to sleep with Body & Soul’s cast, crew or anyone on set now that she had the part.
Although Nancy still had questions about the wedding ring she found in Joy’s suite, her daughter didn’t offer details.
Nancy also had an idea for inexpensive lodging, so she took Joy to the pub since Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) rented rooms above it.
Once Nancy and Joy entered, they found Chanel and Johnny at a table together.
That led to Nancy talking about her desire to rent Joy a room. Chanel also invited Nancy and Joy to join them since she wanted to get to know the woman who was stealing her man.
Of course, Chanel was just joking about Joy playing Regan Holloway, but there was still plenty of awkwardness between Joy and Johnny – though they hid it well enough.
At the Hernandez house, Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) put down her ring on the table and told Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon) that Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) left town following his goodbye note for EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel).
Javi comforted Gabi with a hug shortly before Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) entered with engagement news. Gabi got updates on Vivian Alamain’s (Louise Sorel) arrest and hinted that she wasted a trip if she came to see Stefan.
Gabi ultimately chose to put her own divorce drama aside and focus on helping Jada and Rafe celebrate on Thursday’s Days episode.
Since Gabi wanted to do that at Small Bar, Jada and Rafe stayed behind to get dressed up for their evening out.
In the meantime, Alex found Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) already at the bar, so they commiserated about past heartbreak. Stephanie eventually showed up, so Alex had a heart-to-heart with her at a table.
Although Stephanie hinted that she might want to be with Alex if things were different, she acted like they couldn’t go against Kate Roberts Brady’s (Lauren Koslow) orders.
Stephanie and Alex resolved to go back to being great friends, but they still looked at each other like they wanted more.
Back with Leo on Thursday’s Days episode, he wished he could find a hot single guy and started writing himself a love interest on his laptop.
Suddenly, Javi sat down next to Leo, so that led to a flirty exchange.
Gabi came along and warned Javi to “step away from the Stark” before dragging him off privately.
Although Gabi tried to tell Javi horror stories involving Leo’s past behavior, he wasn’t deterred.
Afterward on Thursday’s DOOL show, Javi revealed to Leo that Gabi was his cousin.
Leo was sure Gabi had been trashing him, but Javi didn’t scare easily and said he liked a bad boy.
Once Leo suggested he liked whatever kind of boy Javi was, he asked for his number and got it. Javi later texted Leo from across the room and winked at him.
Rafe and Jada made it to the bar for some celebrating, so Stephanie caught a glimpse of the ring and congratulated them.
Gabi also opened up to Rafe about all the latest Stefan drama, but she mostly wanted to concentrate on Rafe’s happiness.
