Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Thursday, October 10, reveals that Mark Greene (Jonah Robinson) met with Clyde Weston (James Read) in prison and assured him that “Abigail DiMera” (AnnaLynne McCord) was carrying out a plan in Paris.
Mark said it wouldn’t be long until “Abigail” was Mrs. Chad DiMera, but that wasn’t good enough for Clyde – who wanted her to be the widow DiMera instead.
Clyde explained that his lawyer was getting him off the hook since “Abby” was alive and the drug ring charges could be dropped due to procedural infractions.
That’s why Clyde would be able to spend the DiMera fortune, but he thought it’d be easier if Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) was deceased. With that in mind, Clyde pushed Mark to be his hitman and insisted that his sweet mama was a goner if he didn’t eliminate Chad.
In Paris, “Abigail” listened to Chad’s stories about when they lived there with the kids. That led to “Abby” pretending to remember – though she claimed she recalled feelings rather than specific memories.
“Abigail” did mention hearing the pitter-patter of their children’s feet and seeing the light come through the window in the morning. “Abby” also said she remembered Chad and how much she loved him, so they began kissing passionately.
Things started to heat up as “Abigail” took off Chad’s jacket, but she suddenly stopped and said she didn’t think they should get intimate just yet. Chad assured “Abigail” that she was fine with waiting, but she insisted she didn’t want to wait too long.
That’s when “Abigail” blurted out the idea of getting married and caught Chad off guard.
Back in Salem on Thursday’s Days episode, Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) dropped by the Horton house with lemon bars and had a chat with Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes).
Julie gave Maggie updates on the weirdness of the “Abigail” situation and Chad’s hope that she’d remember more in Paris.
When the topic of Sarah Kiriakis’ (Linsey Godfrey) sudden memory of Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) behind the wheel came up, Julie hinted that she wouldn’t blame Sarah if she made it up.
Maggie acted like Sarah wouldn’t do that, but Julie couldn’t help but have sympathy for Brady since he was a good person at heart. That said, Julie and Maggie were hopeful that everyone could move forward now that Brady was taking responsibility.
At the Kiriakis mansion on Thursday’s DOOL show, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) refused to let Sarah recant her statement against Brady. If Sarah tried to fight him on this, he insisted he’d send her to prison instead for perjury.
EJ argued that he’d worked out a 10-year deal for Brady, so someone was going to prison for 10 years – even if it had to be Sarah!
Xander fumed over EJ’s roadblock and decided maybe he could talk Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) into handing over the serum anyway, so he went to the DiMera mansion to look for her.
At Small Bar on Thursday’s Days episode, Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) introduced himself to Fiona Cook (Serena Scott Thomas) and asked her questions about the night of the hit-and-run accident.
After Eric mentioned that he’d talked to the waiter, Fiona insisted she came after Brady summoned her that night and found him drunk. Eric asked if Fiona was drinking too, but she claimed she’d been sober for a long time now.
Fiona acted like Brady left alone, but Eric pointed out that the waiter said they left together. Once Fiona amended her statement and suggested she went after Brady in hopes of calling him a cab, she said Brady couldn’t be persuaded not to drive.
Fiona said she took a taxi back to her room before Xander called her with the horrible Sarah news. Eric seemed skeptical of Fiona’s story, but he suggested she’d been helpful.
Back at the Kiriakis mansion on Thursday’s Days episode, Eric stopped by to talk to Sarah following his conversation with Fiona.
After Eric pushed Sarah to be honest, he asked if Brady was innocent and if she was covering for her mother-in-law. That left Sarah looking confused and taken aback.
