Days of Our Lives Thursday, October 31 Recap: Leo’s Fatal Mystery, Pineview Plunger Whodunit, Johnny’s Cast Curveball

Days of Our Lives (DOOL)spoilers recap for Thursday, October 31, reveals that Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) summoned Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) to the Body & Soul office, where she delighted Joy with the news that she’d scored the part of Regan Holloway.

At the DiMera mansion on Thursday’s Days episode, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) visited with a belated birthday gift for Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman), who talked about the party chaos after his false affair assumption.

While Johnny worried Chanel DiMera (Raven Bowens) might never forgive him, Chanel thanked Abe Carver (James Reynolds) for letting her stay at the apartment he shared with Paulina Price (Jackée Harry).

Chanel vented about Johnny not trusting her and blamed him for even thinking that she would’ve been hooking up on set with Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson).

At the hospital on Thursday’s Days episode, Seth Burns (Bruce Beatty) tried to apologize to Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) for accidentally outing her passion with Alex, but she wasn’t very receptive.

Later, Johnny poured his heart out to Chanel and expressed how sorry he was.

After Johnny wondered if Chanel was willing to move past this, Kate popped up with updates on hiring Joy as the new Regan Holloway.

Joy appeared and exchanged a nervous look with Johnny, who smiled despite knowing this was the same girl he cheated with the other night.

Johnny definitely looked like he was trying to cover his shock and anxiety.

In Leo Stark’s (Greg Rikaart) suite, he had an elaborate nightmare involving Regan being Arrow’s vengeful ex-wife.

Arrow was framed in a whodunit where a masked intruder stabbed multiple people all over Pineview.

Since Arrow kept handling the knife and making mistakes, the cops – including Johnny playing a detective and Abe playing the commissioner – were adamant about putting him in jail.

Arrow assumed Regan was to blame for going after Chanel and his mother, Cassandra Lovegood (Judi Evans), but then Regan herself became a victim of the “Pineview Plunger.”

Miranda (Abigail Klein) was Regan’s best friend, so she admitted Regan was working with someone on a payback plot.

That partner in crime turned out to be Charlemagne Delacroix (Deidre Hall), who came back from the grave just to get killed off again.

More victims piled up before it was revealed that everyone was still alive on an island called Weivenip, which was Pineview spelled backwards.

It was an obvious nod to the Melaswen story Days once did.

Leo eventually appeared and announced that he was pulling the strings on everything as Body & Soul’s head writer.

However, Marlena appeared in the Pineview Plunger disguise and revealed her fury over Leo not respecting her wishes over the one-day gig.

Leo seemingly awoke in his bed, but then Stephanie showed up at his door and stabbed him to give Body & Soul’s ratings a boost – a move that Kate and Abe supported on Thursday’s Days episode.

Once Leo woke up for real, Abe visited him to make sure he got the message about writing in Joy’s character.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Leo’s Halloween horror won’t become a reality, but our predictions point to plenty of upcoming Body & Soul drama.
