Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Tuesday, August 13, reveals that Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) spoke to Tate Black (Leo Howard) over the phone while drinking at Small Bar, but he lied about being at home. The waiter needled Brady about this deception, but Brady ripped into him for eavesdropping.
At Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) and Sarah Horton-Cook’s (Linsey Godfrey) apartment, they shared wedding cake and beverages with Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) as well as Fiona Cook (Serena Scott Thomas).
Fiona charmed the newlyweds with a toast and snuck a refill of Champagne instead of the sparkling cider she was originally served.
Once Fiona got a text, Xander assumed it was from her new beau and urged her to take off if she wanted.
Fiona accepted Brady’s offer to meet up for drinks at Small Bar, where she bribed the waiter with a nice tip and convinced him to ignore Brady’s belligerent outburst.
Since Brady was too drunk to drive home after they threw back plenty of drinks together, Fiona drove instead.
Back with Maggie on Tuesday’s Days episode, she offered up the Horton cabin to Xander and Sarah since they wanted to honeymoon somewhere nearby for a couple days.
Maggie went home to get the key and couldn’t find it, so Sarah said she’d come help her search.
Xander went to get tickets for the Smith Island ferry while Sarah ended straight in the path of Fiona’s headlights.
Fiona looked over at passed out drunk Brady and back at the road before running over Sarah with a thud!
At the Horton cabin on Tuesday’s DOOL show, Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) took Tate’s shirt off and pushed him to make love to her.
Tate asked about protection, but Holly said she had it covered and handed over a box of condoms.
However, Holly eventually let it slip about Sophia Choi (Madelyn Kientz) giving her a hard time about them not sleeping together yet.
Tate assured that he wanted Holly badly, but he didn’t think they should rush into this just because of Sophia’s pressure.
Holly understood Tate’s point and embraced him before heading back to the Kiriakis mansion to replace the key she stole.
At the hospital on Tuesday’s Days episode, the mystery woman (AnnaLynne McCord) worried this was a bad idea since she didn’t want to get Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Jack Deveraux’s (Matthew Ashford) hopes up.
Even if she was Abby, she wasn’t sure what that meant since Chad was a stranger to her. It’s not like she could just pick up where she left off with Chad.
However, the mystery lady ultimately got her cheek swabbed along with Jack, so Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) sent the DNA samples to the lab and put a rush on them.
Since the mystery woman was hungry, Chad took her to the DiMera mansion and explained that it was his family’s estate.
Chad had the chef make a sandwich that Abigail previously liked, but it didn’t jog any memories.
The mystery woman also checked out Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) portrait along with a decorative trinket, which Chad admitted Abigail picked out in Paris.
Although Chad realized he was coming on a little strong here, the mystery woman knew he really needed her to be Abigail.
Back at the hospital, Jack got off the phone with Jennifer Horton Deveraux (Cady McClain) and told Kayla that Jenn was staying neutral until they knew for sure about the DNA test results.
JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) had been given updates off-screen too, so Jack admitted JJ thought Clyde Weston (James Read) was lying about Abby’s survival news.
As far as JJ was concerned, Jack and Chad were setting themselves up for unnecessary heartache.
Jack hated the thought of having to mourn Abigail all over again, but he hoped for the best once the DNA test results came in.
Chad opened them up as Jack pushed him to reveal what they said.
