Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Tuesday, June 25, reveals that Diana Cooper (Judith Chapman) entered the prison visiting area to find Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart), who tried to confront her about her awful treatment of him over the years.
Diana mocked Leo’s script and the therapy sessions he’d been attending, but Leo was determined to on unleash his wrath.
However, Diana insisted it wasn’t her fault that Leo was single, friendless, unlovable and more.
Leo eventually acted like Diana never should’ve been a mother at all, but she fired back and continued treating him like the problem.
Once Leo reflected on the first time his dad hit him and how Diana told him to suck it up, she seemed a bit more affected emotionally.
Leo also reflected on when he killed his father to protect both of them, but he felt that Diana never protected her own son all.
That was Diana’s one job and she failed at it, but Diana ripped up Leo’s script and suggested he shouldn’t bother coming back to visit her.
Leo said that he wouldn’t and left Diana looking a little distraught once she was alone on Tuesday’s Days episode.
At the hospital, Dr. Mark Greene (Jonah Robinson) gave Chanel DiMera (Raven Bowens) and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) updates on a couple soft markers in her latest ultrasound results, which could point to a congenital abnormality.
After Mark said he was referring Chanel to a genetic counselor in Los Angeles for further testing, she worried these soft markers might be due to the radiation exposure.
Mark admitted there was no way to know for sure at this point.
Afterward on Tuesday’s DOOL show, Leo headed to the hospital in hopes of speaking with Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), but he couldn’t get in for an appointment until tomorrow.
Once Leo broke down in tears over still wanting his mother’s love, Mark put a hand on his shoulder and wondered if he was OK.
Back with Johnny and Chanel, they met up with Felicity Greene (Kennedy Garcia) in the town square so they could all say their goodbyes.
Felicity gave Chanel her favorite stuffed animal and insisted she wanted the baby to have it.
Despite all the doubts and concerns Chanel was dealing with, Johnny later reassured her that he was all in on having this baby with her.
Johnny felt that no matter what happened, they’d tackle the challenge together.
At Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) and Abe Carver’s (Jackee Harry) place, they discussed how the recall petition had been dropped now that she’d given into EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) DA reinstatement demand.
Since Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) was insulted and turned down the head of sanitation position as an alternative, Paulina still needed someone in that role.
Abe pitched himself for the position, but Paulina didn’t like the idea of being his boss and gently steered him away from the idea.
Once Abe left to pick up some takeout from the pub, Johnny and Chanel kept their troubling baby news a secret from Paulina.
Sadly, Chanel began experiencing horrible cramps and doubled over in pain shortly after they returned to Paulina’s apartment.
At the pub on Tuesday’s Days episode, Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) told Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) that he was going to visit Will Horton (Chandler Massey) and Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) in Phoenix since that’s where they lived now.
Although Kate was disappointed to be losing Lucas so soon, she understood why he was leaving and pushed him to hurry back soon.
After Lucas headed out, Abe arrived for his takeout and took a moment to chat with Kate.
Once Kate reflected on working with Abe in the past, she hinted about them maybe teaming up as business partners again – though she wasn’t sure what the project should be yet.
At the Horton house on Tuesday’s Days episode, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) came home after staying out all night and driving to Clyde Weston’s (James Read) supermax prison for a failed visit.
Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) sought answers when he popped up ahead of his trip home, but Chad managed to cover and kept him in the dark on any Abigail DiMera (last played by Marci Miller) survival questions.
Just before Jack left, Julie called out to stop him.
Chad feared Julie might tell the truth, but Julie gave Jack the time capsule she couldn’t open instead and urged him to have Jennifer Horton Deveraux (Melissa Reeves) try her luck.
Lucas arrived a little later, so Julie told Chad that the rest of Lucas’ sentence had officially been commuted.
Chad hugged Lucas over the celebratory news and knew that everyone in Arizona was going to enjoy his visit.
Once Chad showed Lucas the footage of the mystery woman (AnnaLynne McCord), Lucas still doubted that Abigail was alive.
That said, Lucas knew that Chad had to get more information and suggested maybe having the images enhanced.
Chad said that was the plan, so Lucas was hopeful that Chad could get the answers he needed. Julie remained committed to helping Chad crack the case.
