Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Tuesday, November 26, reveals that Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) got a phone call from Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) at Statesville, so he promised she’d still get his cut of the inheritance.
Later, Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) showed up at Philip’s hotel room and heard about his phone conversation with Vivian.
Although Kate wasn’t concerned about Vivian now that she was behind bars, Philip feared he’d land in prison too if Vivian spilled about his involvement in their scheme.
Talk eventually turned to Philip hiring Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein), so Kate had mixed feelings about that news. Although Kate approved of Philip hiring a PR rep to get the public on his side, she had concerns since Stephanie was his ex.
Philip insisted Stephanie wasn’t interested in him, but Kate pointed out that Stephanie was interested in Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson).
After all the drama that happened with Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin), Kate worried Philip would go down a similar road with Stephanie and target Alex as a result.
Kate refused to lose Philip again, so he worked to convince his mom that she wouldn’t. After Kate invited Philip to attend Thanksgiving dinner at the Brady Pub, he accepted the offer and headed over there with her.
At the hospital on Tuesday’s Days episode, Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) showed up looking for Sarah Kiriakis (Linsey Godfrey) and Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer), but Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) admitted Sarah had already been discharged.
At the Kiriakis mansion, Bonnie Kiriakis (Judi Evans) was delighted to see Sarah enter walking on her own with a cane. It was a Thanksgiving miracle as far as Bonnie was concerned.
Cook was sick after accidentally eating a tainted cupcake that Bonnie left out, so Bonnie took charge in the kitchen with disastrous results.
There was a fire that left everyone smelling smoke, so the turkey was burned to a crisp – and the rest of the feast didn’t turn out any better.
At the pub on Tuesday’s Days episode, Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) and Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) helped pack up some meals for those in need.
Bonnie eventually called to ask Justin if he could bring home turkey takeout, but he suggested grabbing pizza instead.
However, Kayla insisted it was sacrilege to have pizza on Thanksgiving and insisted the Kiriakis clan should just join their dinner at the pub.
Back at the Kiriakis mansion, Xander ranted about Philip’s actions and left Sarah worried he might target him for revenge like Brady Black (Eric Martsolf). Xander promised he’d only fight Philip in court and seemed more eager to count his blessings right now.
Sarah and Xander wound up hitting the sheets, so they were canoodling when Maggie knocked on the door with Thanksgiving location updates.
After Sarah said she’d rest and see how she felt later, she bought herself more time in bed with Xander.
At Alex’s place on Tuesday’s Days episode, Stephanie brought turkey noodle soup since she thought that might be easier on his recovering stomach.
Once Alex expressed his gratitude, Stephanie fished for info on Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins). Alex clarified that Joy was kind enough to stick around and take care of him after they ran lines.
Stephanie eventually told Alex about Philip being her new client and admitted that they were engaged once upon a time. Alex was stunned and felt like Stephanie should’ve confessed that to him before now.
Although Alex seemed to be siding with Xander about Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) will, Stephanie supported Philip’s right to contest it due to the letter and his bond with Victor.
Stephanie also admitted that they broke up because she forced Philip to choose between her and his father.
Since Stephanie regretted how she handled things, Alex wondered if she actually wanted to get back together with Philip.
Stephanie denied it, but Alex still seemed uneasy about her connection to Philip once she took off.
Back at the pub on Tuesday’s DOOL show, Stephanie and Alex were both surprised over their families having a blended Thanksgiving meal.
Philip also showed up thanks to Kate’s invitation, so that brought some tension with Alex.
Although Alex pushed Philip to back off Xander and stop going after Titan, Philip refused.
Once Xander and Sarah arrived, Philip was stunned to see Sarah walking and realized the serum actually worked.
Xander said that was no thanks to Philip and snapped at him a bit, but Sarah convinced her husband to walk away before things escalated.
Kayla made a sweet speech at the Thanksgiving table before Philip ultimately made a speech of his own.
It started out nice enough, but then Philip took a jab about kicking Xander to the curb and replacing him on the Titan throne.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Xander and Philip’s feud will come with some twists and turns, so we’ll pass along more predictions on all the curveballs.
