Days of Our Lives Tuesday, October 1 Recap: Hattie’s Fatal Curveball, Bonnie’s Stunning News, Johnny Rejects Alex’s Idea

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Tuesday, October 1, reveals that Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) told Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) about becoming neighbors with Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) again and how he’d been there for her following the loss of Everett Lynch (Blake Berris).

Stephanie also admitted to impulsively kissing Alex and having some surprising thoughts, but she said neither of them wanted to ruin their friendship.

Jada assured Stephanie that she was there for her anytime and made a prediction about the exes figuring it all out.

Next on Tuesday’s Days episode, Alex riled Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) up by suggesting he could bow out as director on the upcoming love scene.

Johnny refused to tell Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) that he was incapable of directing his own wife during the fake passion, so he shut down the idea of an alternate director.

After Johnny left, Chanel DiMera (Raven Bowens) gave Alex updates on her recent marriage conflict, but she also admitted Alex wasn’t so bad.

Since Alex felt that way about Chanel too, they agreed to try being friends again for the sake of work.

Alex eventually received news about an extra scene he needed to go film at the hospital, so he took off.

That left Chanel alone to look ahead at the love scene in the script, so she was taken aback over how sizzling it was and knew Johnny wouldn’t like it.

Meanwhile, Seth Burns (Bruce Beaty) paid Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) a visit in her office and tried to shut down Body and Soul’s proposal for using the hospital.

Kayla objected since Seth had previously approved and listed plenty of reasons why this was actually a win-win situation.

Seth finally agreed to let Body and Soul film scenes there on one condition, which turned out to be him playing Pineview’s chief of staff.

At the pub on Tuesday’s Days episode, Bonnie Kiriakis (Judi Evans) blamed Hattie Adams (Deidre Hall) for her firing and threatened a lawsuit, but there was nothing Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) could do.

Bonnie eventually broke down in tears over how much she’d been looking forward to working with Hattie, who really hurt her by getting her cut from the show.

Hattie looked like she was feeling guilty and that was evident when she filmed Charlemagne’s final scene with hospitalized Kassandra, who had a flesh-eating disease that was incurable.

Charlemagne’s voice cracked as she said she was going to miss Kassandra, but it seemed more like Hattie was going to miss Bonnie.

Once the scene was over, Johnny praised both Bonnie and Hattie for showing genuine emotion.

After Hattie left on Tuesday’s Days episode, it was Alex’s turn to rehearse for his own scene with Bonnie.

In that scene, Arrow rushed to his mother’s bedside after finding a special begonia in the jungle and told Kassandra that the juice of it would save her life.

Bonnie was shocked to learn her character wasn’t facing a grim fate after all.

Back with Abe on Tuesday’s DOOL show, he thanked Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) for his discretion when it came to the final scenes and how all this went down.

When Hattie appeared, she hinted about being sad that Bonnie was getting fired.

Abe thought that was good since Bonnie wasn’t the one getting killed off; Hattie was getting killed off instead!

Days of Our Lives spoilers say this Body and Soul twist will definitely ruffle Hattie’s feathers, so stay tuned.
