Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Tuesday, October 15, reveals that Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) summoned Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) to the pub, where she came clean about hooking up with Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) on the set of Body & Soul.
Jada was entertained by the juicy news, but she also gave Stephanie a nudge to talk things over with Alex since she was afraid of jeopardizing their friendship.
At the hospital on Tuesday’s Days episode, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) visited Chanel DiMera’s (Raven Bowens) room and asked how she threw her back out.
Chanel explained it was a freak shoe-tying incident, but Johnny was skeptical as he flashed back to what he thought was Chanel and Alex’s hookup. It seemed like Johnny was about to confront Chanel over what he witnessed, but then Alex walked in.
Alex was there to check on Chanel and reassure her about their delayed love scene. Chanel was bummed that they couldn’t even rehearse and wanted to get back to work ASAP.
Johnny said Chanel and Alex would be undressing each other in no time, so Chanel picked up on his jealous vibe and confronted him once they were alone.
However, Johnny downplayed things and ultimately tucked Chanel into bed at home. Johnny declined to stay with Chanel and claimed he had some scenes left to block.
Downstairs, Johnny talked to Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) portrait about feeling like a fool and angrily smashed a glass since he assumed he’d been right to worry about Chanel cheating with Alex.
Meanwhile, Stephanie talked to Alex at his apartment, where they agreed it was best to stick to friendship – though neither of them really seemed to mean it.
Sure enough, Alex and Stephanie found themselves swept up in a passionate kiss moments later, so their friendship goal failed quickly.
Next on Tuesday’s Days episode, Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) begged Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) to come film Charlemagne’s final scene since Hattie Adams (Deidre Hall) had left them in such a bind.
Marlena repeatedly told Leo no, but she ultimately changed her mind since filming the scene would take less time than arguing.
At the Salem PD, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) thanked Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) for helping him remember that Fiona Cook (Serena Scott Thomas) was behind the wheel that night – not him.
Eric summoned Marlena with positive updates to report, so she was thrilled over Brady’s memories and felt confident he’d be free soon.
Jada also questioned Brady and got a new statement about remembering that Fiona was the hit-and-run driver. Although Jada needed more than just Brady’s word on this, Eric insisted she should talk to Fiona and Sarah Kiriakis (Linsey Godfrey) for the answers she needed.
At the Kiriakis mansion on Tuesday’s DOOL show, Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) warned Fiona to get away from Sarah and questioned why his mom was trying to throw his wife down the stairs.
Sarah insisted it was because she remembered Fiona was driving that night and added that Fiona had admitted it.
Once Xander made sure Sarah was OK, he dragged Fiona downstairs to rip into her over the hit-and-run accident and Brady’s frame-up. Fiona gave her sob story about how sorry she was and how she couldn’t bear to lose Xander, but Xander fired back that she’d lost him forever now.
Xander also couldn’t buy Fiona’s attempts at damage control when he caught her trying to get rid of Sarah just now. Nevertheless, Fiona argued that she just panicked and wouldn’t have actually gone through with it.
Xander was disgusted, furious, heartbroken and ashamed as he prepared to call the cops on his own mother. Jada popped up to say that wouldn’t be necessary as she placed Fiona under arrest.
With tears steaming down her face, Fiona assured Xander that she really did love him before she was led away in handcuffs. Xander got Sarah’s support and cried once they were alone.
