Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Tuesday, October 22, reveals that Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) met up with Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) for dinner and came clean about hitting the sheets with Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) again.
Jada thought Stephanie had lingering feelings for Alex, but Stephanie didn’t want to risk their friendship and couldn’t be sure Alex felt the same way.
Since Stephanie didn’t find the idea of friends with benefits fulfilling, she insisted she was done sleeping with Alex. Jada definitely didn’t seem convinced that was true!
Next on Tuesday’s Days episode, Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) showed up at Alex’s place with a pumpkin to carve and some beers to share.
Alex wound up admitting his complicated situation with Stephanie and acted like his feelings didn’t matter since Stephanie didn’t feel that way about him.
At the Kiriakis mansion on Tuesday’s Days episode, Bonnie Kiriakis (Judi Evans) was delighted when Nancy Miller (Patrika Darbo) paid her a visit. Nancy admitted she was in town to hopefully get her daughter, Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins), a role on Body & Soul.
Since Joy had been so adrift lately, Nancy thought maybe this job would give her a sense of purpose. Bonnie assured Nancy that she’d put in a good word for Joy and try to get her hired.
In the town square on Tuesday’s DOOL show, Chanel DiMera (Raven Bowens) got Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) on the phone and wondered if they could meet up for dinner.
Johnny lied about working late at the studio when he was actually drowning his sorrows at Small Bar. When Johnny brought up the fact that Chanel wasn’t at Sweet Bits earlier, she fibbed to cover up her surprise party plans and claimed she was running an errand at the pharmacy.
Johnny flashed back to catching Chanel at Alex’s apartment and fumed once they disconnected. Joy popped up moments later and got Johnny to order her a beer while she was freshening up in the restroom.
Once Joy returned, she ranted about how annoying it had been traveling with her mother all day. Johnny wasn’t particularly interested and snapped at Joy, but he eventually admitted he was just in a bad mood because his wife was cheating on him.
After Johnny told the whole ugly story – at least from his very wrong perspective – Joy had sympathy for him. Joy also thought Johnny should confront his wife, but Johnny said not tonight and smiled at Joy like maybe they were about to hook up!
Back in the town square on Tuesday’s Days episode, Chanel had dinner with Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) and made a prediction that things would settle down once she got this first scene with Alex out of the way.
Chanel also mentioned that Alex was helping with Johnny’s on-set surprise birthday bash, so that news unsettled Paulina. Although Paulina didn’t seem convinced it was a good idea, Chanel acted like it’d help everyone get along.
