Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Tuesday, October 8, reveals that Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) had a nightmare about Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) invading his bedroom to make love to Chanel DiMera (Raven Bowens), but she tried to reassure her husband once he confessed his dream.
At Stephanie Johnson’s (Abigail Klein) apartment, she opened the door to shirtless Alex and accepted the latte he brought her. Alex talked about his truce with Chanel and Johnny’s jealousy issues before heading off to go shower.
Stephanie ultimately gave Alex a ride to the hospital, where he learned Chanel was running late. Alex asked Stephanie to run lines instead, so they acted out a sizzling scene in a hospital room.
That led to “Arrow” telling “Faith” how his mother’s ordeal made him realize life was too precious to squander. Things took a passionate turn between Stephanie and Alex as they kissed before hooking up in the hospital bed.
In the park on Tuesday’s Days episode, Chanel pulled a muscle in her back while tying her shoe, so Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) found her in distress and insisted on taking her to the ER.
Later, Kayla decided Chanel couldn’t do her love scene in this condition and forced her to postpone it.
At the Body & Soul office, Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) got a fruit basket from Bonnie Kiriakis (Judi Evans), who was thrilled over being able to keep her job.
Now that Hattie Adams (Deidre Hall) was getting the boot instead, Bonnie hoped maybe she could have Charlemagne’s mansion and husband. However, Kate and Abe made it clear that this was an ensemble production, so Bonnie wouldn’t get treated like a one-woman show.
In the town square on Tuesday’s Days episode, Hattie confronted Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) over her exit and admitted she felt duped since she originally thought Bonnie was getting written out.
Leo confessed that they wanted the shock for the audience – not to mention they were afraid Hattie might screw them over by not filming her exit. Hattie decided screwing the soap over wasn’t such a bad idea and made it clear that her friendship with Leo was done.
After Hattie warned Leo to stay away from her, she threatened to end him if he didn’t! Leo eventually made his way to the Body & Soul office, where he vented to Katie about his guilt and Hattie’s ability to hold a grudge.
Once it was time for Hattie to tape her exit, she was nowhere to be found. Hattie finally arrived late and began filming, but she kept dragging out her scene by the elevator shaft that she was supposed to fall into.
In the end, Hattie refused to do the stunt. Although Hattie couldn’t stop Body & Soul from giving Charlemagne a fatal departure, she insisted she wouldn’t help them do it and stomped off.
Hattie later warned Abe and Kate that she was cursing the whole production and threatened to send Pineview up in flames.
Next on Tuesday’s DOOL show, Seth Burns (Bruce Beatty) warned Johnny not to go in the hospital room where “Arrow” and “Faith” had been rehearsing. Since Seth poked his head in earlier, he gave Johnny updates on things taking a very real turn in there.
Johnny opened the door anyway and was horrified to see Alex in the middle of some genuine lovemaking with his scene partner. Stephanie was under Alex and couldn’t really be seen, so Johnny naturally assumed Alex was hooking up with Chanel instead.
