Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Monday, January 8, reveals that Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) will express confusion when he realizes Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) didn’t catch her flight to China as planned.
Since Wendy will still be in Salem, Tripp will have some questions and may hope that she’s had a change of heart about moving to Hong Kong to support her parents.
Over with Paulina Price (Jackée Harry), she’ll have an unexpected encounter with Nicole DiMera (Arianne Zucker) and Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) at the hospital.
Days spoilers say Paulina will offer sympathy over Holly Jonas’ (Ashley Puzemis) ordeal, but she’ll also land in a tight spot.
Maggie and Nicole will wonder about the reason for Paulina’s hospital visit, so they may fear something’s wrong.
Paulina won’t want to share her potential cancer news, so she’ll make excuses to throw Nicole and Maggie off the trail.
At the DiMera mansion, Days spoilers say Chad will put Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) and Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) on the hot seat, so they’ll get grilled about Salem’s drug crisis and whether they’re partly to blame.
Ava will keep selling the story of her affair with Stefan, so she’ll plant a big kiss on him in front of Chad to convince him that’s their big secret.
Other Days spoilers say Everett Lynch (Blake Berris) and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) will probably discuss their recent lip lock as well.
Although Stephanie kissed Everett back, she might pump the brakes a bit and remind him that friendship is all she’s looking for right now.
Everett and Stephanie may agree it was a magical New Year’s Eve moment and try to leave it at that.
Of course, that’ll be tough since Stephanie and Everett are getting swept up in their familiar feelings for each other.
DOOL fans can expect Everett and Stephanie to strengthen their bond on Monday’s episode, so temptation will be on the rise.
