Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Wednesday, August 7, reveals that Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) walked in on Holly Jonas’ (Ashley Puzemis) phone call with Tate Black (Leo Howard) and caught Holly in a lie when she tried to cover.

Although Maggie had sympathy over Holly and Tate’s situation, she suggested they should prove to their parents that they could be trusted.

Maggie also got Holly to agree she wouldn’t lie anymore, but Holly went right back to sneaking around and keeping secrets soon after!

Once Maggie left on Wednesday’s Days episode, Holly was floored when Tate walked in the Kiriakis mansion living room.

Tate admitted he locked himself out of the Horton cabin, so he planned to have a copy of Maggie’s key made and squeeze in more Holly time.

When Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) showed up at Titan, she learned that Fiona Cook (Serena Scott Thomas) talked Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) into accepting his birthright and taking over the CEO position.

Sarah decided she wanted to get married today, so she dashed off to get ready while Xander got in touch with Fiona about being a witness at the ceremony.

In Fiona’s hotel suite, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) woke up in bed with her and groggily called her Xander’s mom.

Fiona teased Brady since she actually had a name and wondered which part of sleeping with Xander’s mom was so horrifying.

Brady admitted he thought Xander was a total creep, so Fiona pushed him to spill what exactly Xander had done to him.

Although Brady was reluctant at first, he finally revealed that Xander shot him along with his stepmother for starters!

Fiona was apologetic over Xander’s actions and felt partly responsible since she hadn’t been there for him.

Brady didn’t think Fiona was to blame and acknowledged that Xander was seemingly trying to turn his life around.

When Xander called to invite Fiona to the wedding today, he heard her gentleman friend in the background and offered to let him be her plus one.

Fiona accepted her own invitation and declined for her friend, but then Xander called Brady’s phone and left him worried that Xander had recognized his voice.

It was a false alarm since Xander just wanted Brady to handle a meeting for him at Titan.

Brady was relieved over that news and agreed with Fiona about maybe having a repeat of last night sometime.

Afterward on Wednesday’s Days episode, Sarah and Xander wore their wedding attire at their apartment, where Maggie officiated the ceremony while Fiona watched.

Once Xander and Sarah said their heartfelt vows, they officially tied the knot and sealed it with a kiss.

At Body and Soul headquarters, Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) showed up wearing a wig and a dress since he wanted to audition for the role of Lorna, but that audition was a disaster due to his bad acting.

Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) and Abe Carver (James Reynolds) didn’t give Leo the part, but they agreed to let him submit a script and potentially have a trial run as a Body and Soul writer.

At the pub on Wednesday’s DOOL show, Bonnie Kiriakis (Judi Evans) walked in right as Hattie Adams (Deidre Hall) was practicing her lines to play Charlemagne.

Bonnie became alarmed when she overheard Hattie plotting to kill her husband since she assumed Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) was targeting John Black (Drake Hogestyn).

Once Bonnie confronted “Marlena,” Hattie revealed who she was and had a happy reunion with her old pal.

After Hattie gave Bonnie updates on her new soap role, Bonnie seemed intrigued over the part of Kassandra still being up for grabs.

Next on Wednesday’s Days episode, Bonnie donned an over-the-top look and arrived at the Body and Soul office to audition as Kassandra.

Outside the pub, Leo ran into Hattie thinking she was Marlena and asked if she wanted to come watch RuPaul’s Drag Race with him later.

Hattie said “hell yeah” and got the room number, but she was baffled over who Leo was once he walked off.

In the town square, Tate was waiting on Holly when he physically ran into Brady, who was stunned to see his son back in Salem instead of lacrosse camp.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Tate will have to give Brady some sort of explanation, so we’ll bring you more predictions on any other father-son drama ahead.
