Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Wednesday, October 30, reveals that Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) angrily pushed Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) to tell him where his wife’s body was. Since Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) corpse was missing when Chad had her grave exhumed, he assumed that was part of Clyde Weston’s (James Read) ruse.
However, Cat didn’t know anything about it and assured Chad that she hated every minute of her deception. If Chad sought Clyde out to ask about Abigail’s body, Cat wondered if he’d ask about her mother’s body, too.
Cat knew it was likely that her mom was deceased since she didn’t deliver what Clyde wanted and neither did Mark Greene (Jonah Robinson). Chad snapped that Cat had no right to ask anything of him, but Cat still begged for answers about her mother.
At the pub on Wednesday’s Days episode, Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) gave Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) and Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) updates on Cat’s mother being Catharina Meleounis Greene (last played by Ellie Patrikios).
Although it was previously believed that John Black (Drake Hogestyn) took Catharina out when he was The Pawn, that wasn’t true. Clyde eventually wound up holding Catharina hostage for leverage on Cat and Mark, but Steve had no idea where she was or if she was even still alive.
After a call came in from the warden, Steve blew his top and revealed that Clyde escaped during his courthouse visit for his appeal.
At the Kiriakis mansion on Wednesday’s DOOL show, Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) told Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) that she forgave Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) and hoped Tate Black (Leo Howard) could forgive her, too.
Maggie thought Tate would appreciate it if Holly owned up to her mistakes, so Holly headed to the townhouse to talk since he wasn’t responding to her text.
Next on Wednesday’s Days episode, Tate and Sophia Choi (Madelyn Kientz) got close on his bed during a movie. Sophia and Tate ended up making out, but Tate briefly thought he heard a noise.
That was Holly knocking on the townhouse door, but Sophia suggested maybe it was her pounding heart and got Tate’s attention back on her.
Sophia also asked if Tate had a condom, so he confirmed he did and asked if she was sure. Once Sophia insisted she was, Tate got the condom out and continued kissing Sophia passionately.
Holly realized nobody was going to let her in, so she took off while Tate and Sophia presumably did the deed behind closed doors.
In the town square on Wednesday’s Days episode, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) invited Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) to join him for a club soda, so they discussed Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) giving him a fancy car and having something in the works to help Sarah Kiriakis (Linsey Godfrey).
Ava also discussed Sophia’s crush on Tate and admitted she was rooting for them – though Sophia seemed to have some lingering concerns about Holly.
Brady and Ava joked around about their investment in teenage romances, but Brady appreciated the lighthearted conversation. Ava shared a toast with Brady as they enjoyed having a fun chat with nothing too heavy or crazy.
