Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Wednesday, September 11, reveals that Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Cherie Jimenez) was called to the hospital over Rafe Hernandez’s (Galen Gering) coma awakening, so Connie Viniski (Julie Dove) didn’t get a chance to use the knife behind her back.
At Connie’s apartment on Wednesday’s Days episode, Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) noticed the door was unlocked and went inside.
Before Jada could enter Connie’s bedroom and find hostage Melinda Trask (Tina Huang), Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) called her about Rafe waking up as well.
At the hospital on Wednesday’s DOOL show, Rafe’s preliminary tests didn’t point to any issues and his memory was fine other than him not remembering how he wound up in a coma.
Once Jada and Gabi shared a warm reunion with Rafe, they filled him in on the stabbing in the cemetery.
Rafe recalled being on the phone with Paulina right before it happened, but he didn’t remember who stabbed him.
When Gabi and Jada offered updates on Everett Lynch aka Robert “Bobby” Stein’s (Blake Berris) confessing and taking his own life, Rafe was taken aback over the news.
Rafe eventually heard Connie’s voice as he thought back to attack aftermath, but he brushed it off and didn’t say anything to Jada.
At Connie’s apartment again, she fumed over Gabi’s happiness after sleeping with EJ and Rafe’s wake-up call.
Connie knew Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) didn’t want her to kill anyone else, but she acted like it was the only way to make Gabi pay.
In the park on Wednesday’s Days episode, Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) told Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) about seemingly catching “Abigail DiMera” (AnnaLynne McCord) in a lie.
Since “Abigail” wasn’t really talking to Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) about a treatment plan, Stephanie was perplexed.
Chad argued that “Abigail” probably just got confused due to all the new names and doctors she was dealing with.
At the DiMera mansion on Wednesday’s Days episode, “Abigail” talked to Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) portrait and knew he must hate her for lying to his son. “Abby” admitted she wasn’t happy about it either, but she was just doing what she had to do.
“Abigail” also knew family meant everything to Stefano and hinted that it was the same for her as well as her brother.
Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) overheard as he arrived, so “Abigail” covered by acting like she meant JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) since she’d heard a lot about him.
Steve brought up the fact that “Abigail” lied to Stephanie about talking to Kayla on the phone.
Kayla had denied speaking with “Abigail” that morning and wasn’t working on a treatment plan with her.
“Abigail” tried to play it off like there was just a lot of confusion lately and acted overwhelmed.
After Steve reflected on the time he spent believing he was Stefano, he pointed out that it wasn’t true.
“Abigail” said she had her doubts about being Chad’s wife early on, but then the DNA test confirmed she was the real Abigail DiMera.
Steve was polite to “Abigail” and said he’d be there for her along with Kayla, but she was concerned as he left.
“Abigail” knew Steve could be a problem since she could tell he was skeptical of her claims.
