In tonight’s Fire Country episode, the town of Edgewater was livestreaming an eagle’s nest. The eagle eggs hatching was a big deal. It was their high school mascot. It was practically the town’s mascot by this point and so everyone in town watched the eggs hatch. There was a huge celebration at the bar because of it.

Bode was watching with his friends. Which now included Audrey. Audrey and Bode have gotten really close. Gabriela seemed jealous about their connection and she didn’t like hearing that Bode was housesitting for this woman. Bode needed time away from his parents. He agreed to watch Audrey’s cat as well as her plants. And it was only going to be for a few days.

Not that it seemed to matter to Gabriela. Gabriela was emotionally all over the place. She got jealous when she saw Bode spending time with Audrey. He then tries to make it up to her by saying they were just friends and that he cares for her alone. Gabriela wants that attention.

Its why she didn’t hide her feelings when he talked to Audrey, but Gabriela also pushes Bode away because she doesn’t know what she wants. She was all over the place. She’s been self-sabotaging since she ended things with Diego. It therefore didn’t make any sense in the world when she tried to give Jake advice.

There was a beautiful woman that came onto Jake at the bar. He shot her down. He said he was taken when he wasn’t. He was still in love with Cara and sadly she died a while ago. Everyone thought it was time for Jake to put himself back out there. Jake was tuning them all out because he wasn’t ready to move on.

He also wasn’t going to listen to advice from Gabriela. Gabriela got engaged to her rebound in three months and she only realized she didn’t love him when they were at the altar.

Jake’s relationship with Cara had been healthy. They discussed everything. They supported each other. There was no push and pull. Jake should probably be giving Gabriela advice. Not the other way around.

They later got called to a fire at the park. The concern was that the eaglets were at risk from the fire pushing them out before their time. Bode was called to the fire with most of the cadets and Casey. Three Rock was also at the fire. Eve actually ran into her ex-girlfriend. Francine was now a Parks Ranger.

Eve didn’t know that Francine was now a ranger. They haven’t talked since Eve ghosted Francine.
Eve did that six years ago. She was going through things with her family and she didn’t feel supported by anyone much less Francine. She cut ties with most of them. She now realized she might have been a little premature in doing that. She was reconnecting with her family. She was also wrong about Francine. Her ex had supported her career. Eve simply couldn’t see that through the haze of rage.

Eve was also struggling with her inmates. She named Manny as the First Saw. Cole got jealous. The prisoners were all competing to get early release and Cole felt Manny jumped the line when he came back. Manny used to run the camp. He was now a prisoner. He was the same as everyone else.

They were arguing the whole day. They got physical at the fire and Eve had to pull them apart. She gave them a warning. She told him that if they got into another fight that she would report them. They might find themselves back in prison if they keep pushing her.

Francine saw when Eve talked to the guys. She told Eve that she was a great leader. Though Casey felt Vince was a horrible leader. Vince roped off the area where the eaglets were nesting. Casey tried to ignore that to focus on the fire. He also got Bode involved. Casey was teaching Bode to focus solely on the job.

He didn’t want him to get entangled by his family or his friends. He wanted him to just be a firefighter. Casey convinced Bode that the others weren’t as good as they could be. And so Vince reprimanded Casey.

Casey may be in charge of the cadets only Vince was in charge at that fire. He put the man in his place. Casey later pulled the cadets away from the scene. He told Bode to follow and he couldn’t. Bode helped Francine save the eaglets. He made Vince proud. Sharon also found out what was wrong with her. She spoke with Audrey.

Audrey informed her that she might be suffering from early menopause and the descriptions of the symptoms did fit. Audrey recognized it because her prison mom went through the same thing. She got hormone replacement and feels better than ever.

Manny and Cole also made up. Cole still has anger issues every once in a while. He was working on them. It helps that Eve wants them both to succeed. Eve also talked to Francine.

Francine felt jealous when Eve began pulling away. She saw her getting closer to the Leones and Jake. And she felt there was no space for her only things could be different if they tried again.

Then there was Bode. Bode didn’t get in trouble with Casey. Casey just made him realize that he wants to be with Gabriela. He talked to Gabriela after the fire was tamed.

He asked her if there was a chance for them and she said “maybe someday”. It sounded like a no to Bode. He told Gabriela that this might be the end for them. He was hoping to remind her how much they meant to each other and she instead went back to the bar to drink.

THE END!
