General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that a new face will pop up in Port Charles down the road. Delila Dattilo is the daughter of Days of Our Lives’ Bryan Dattilo (Lucas Horton) and is joining the cast of GH in a fun role.
The 10-year-old actress is all set to make her PC debut – and it’s clear that her father couldn’t be more delighted about it.
On Instagram, Bryan Dattilo posted a pic of Delila outside the GH studio and cracked a cute joke in his post.
“A Dattilo was spotted in Port Charles. Finally a real soap star in the family,” Bryan said.
SOD got confirmation from a shot rep that Delila Dattilo has some scenes coming up in Rice Plaza.
Since tends to be a holiday hotspot, Delila’s character may be part of some upcoming celebrations there.
Delila might even be a friend of one of the other soap kids on canvas, so that’s something to keep in mind as we await her Port Charles debut.
So far, Delila is only supposed to be in one episode, but there’s always a chance she could be asked back for more appearances.
Regardless, this is certainly exciting news, so we can see why DOOL’s Bryan Dattilo was eager to give all his followers updates.
As for Bryan himself, he’s filmed scenes that have yet to air over on Days of Our Lives.
DOOL fans can expect to see Lucas back in Salem in the not-too-distant future, so that’s something to look forward to as well.
It’s nice to see Delila is heading down a soapy path of her own. Delila’s gig at General Hospital could pave the way for future stints on other daytime dramas – maybe even at Days!
