General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that we’ve got some comings and goings news to pass along, so let’s start with some long-awaited recast updates. Once Emme Rylan insisted GH wasn’t rehiring her to play Lulu Spencer, fans were left to wonder who would take over the part.
Thankfully, the suspense is over since Alexa Havins has been revealed as the latest Lulu recast.
Havins is best known for her portrayal of Babe Carey on All My Children and seems like she’ll be a wonderful Port Charles addition.
As for Alexa Havins’ first airdate as the new Lulu Spencer, viewers will have to wait a little longer.
Havins will make her debut in the role sometime later this fall, but there’ll still be Lulu developments happening in the meantime.
For the moment, GH is just showing a body double in Lulu’s place.
Fans have still been seeing Lulu in her hospital bed, but the show uses things like a cleverly positioned lamp to conceal her face.
We’ve also seen other characters holding Lulu’s hand, so our predictions point to that trend continuing until Havins makes her first appearance down the road.
Lulu seems poised to offer clues that she’s waking up from her coma, which may be why Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) is excited to bring news to Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) in the preview video for the September 16 episode.
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) might witness Lulu making the effort to offer a hand squeeze or twitch her fingers.
That could lead to Danny racing to alert the medical staff about Lulu’s positive wake-up hints.
In other comings and goings news, Emma Samms’ (Holly Sutton) contract status has been revealed in the show’s closing credits.
Samms is only back as Holly temporarily, but it’s still nice to know GH put her on contract for her latest stint.
Holly has already been interacting with Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) and Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), but she’ll share scenes with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) once they make it to Africa.
At some point, Jason and Anna will have the shocking realization that Holly is Sidwell’s trusted girlfriend, “English.”
Holly is obviously scamming Sidwell, so she’ll have to be careful to avoid tipping him off once Jason and Anna arrive.
Since Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) will pump Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) for info during the week of September 16-20, there’s a chance he might join all this action as well.
General Hospital spoilers say Robert will definitely worry about Anna’s safety – and he’ll fret over Holly’s safety too if he finds out she’s tangled up in all this.
