General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Friday, November 8, reveals that Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) stopped by the Quartermaine mansion to say goodnight to Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante) and spoke to Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) about her grandkids’ living arrangements.
Alexis knew Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) would often be busy in Washington if he got elected – and she didn’t think Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was equipped to raise a teenager alone.
Since Scout and Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) needed a stable environment, Alexis thought they should live with her.
Meanwhile, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) comforted Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) over his loss and was even more heartbroken once she learned Dante had proposed to Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) at GH.
Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) popped up and offered sympathy as well before getting some alone time with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton).
Brook Lynn suggested getting serious about the baby-making mission and pointed out there were ways to do that.
Chase didn’t want to lose their spontaneity, so Brook Lynn agreed to do things the old-fashioned way tonight before they got into tracking her cycle and all the ovulation stuff.
Later, Alexis met with Dante and gave him Sam’s ring since she wasn’t sure if he wanted to keep it or let her wear it for the funeral.
Dante also got updates on Alexis’ plan for Danny and Scout to live with her – though she knew it was nice for them to be around so many loving people at the Q mansion for now.
At the Quartermaine stables, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) gave Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) the news that Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) was his first cousin, which led to an explanation about Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) and her Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) revelation.
Tracy couldn’t hold back a laugh, but she thought Cody dodged a bullet now that he was no longer a couple with Sasha.
Cody also filled Tracy in on the $50 grand Drew paid for his silence, so Tracy acted like he should’ve pushed for more.
After Tracy suggested almost all the Quartermaine men were cheaters, she hinted about Drew’s takedown and got Cody on board.
Meanwhile, Holly remained in a panic over Sasha’s kidnapping and worried she should’ve gone to deliver the diamonds to Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) herself.
Robert insisted it would’ve been a trap, so he pushed Holly to let Jason and Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) handle this.
At the warehouse, Sidwell wasn’t happy about Jason showing up in Holly’s place, but Jason pointed out that he had the diamonds Sidwell wanted.
Jason offered one up as proof, but he wanted to see Sasha before he handed over the rest.
After Sidwell showed Jason a camera feed of Sasha locked in an office, he set a bomb timer for five minutes and gave Jason the room number.
Jason quickly surrendered the diamond bag and bolted to find Sasha before it was too late.
Once Jason found Sasha and broke down the door, they escaped with mere seconds to spare!
Sidwell also got away in the chaos since there was no sign of his body anywhere.
As for Brennan, he was blown back by the blast, but he survived without any major injuries.
In Anna’s office, Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) wanted to know where the incriminating photos in Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) case came from and acted like they were too convenient.
Anna eventually acknowledged that Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) photographer was behind the pics.
Ric complained about Jason delivering them and thought Anna was willing to bend rules for criminals she was too close to.
After the explosion, Anna went down to what was left of the warehouse and gave Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) instructions as they investigated.
It seemed like Anna quickly figured out this was all connected to the Sidwell situation.
Brennan, Sasha and Jason all made it back to Brennan’s office, where Sasha thanked Jason for saving her.
Holly and Robert also popped up, so there was talk about Holly giving up the diamonds for Sasha’s rescue.
Sasha was taken aback over Holly’s willingness to give up the real thing, but Holly wasn’t going to take chances with her daughter’s life on the line.
At one point, Sasha also shared a sweet embrace with Robert, so they got a nice father-daughter bonding moment.
Finally, Anna summoned Jason to the PCPD and clearly wanted to interrogate him.
