General Hospital Monday, July 15 Recap: Charlotte’s Apology Derails Anna’s Plan – Nina Attacks Drew

General Hospital (GH) Spoilers recap for Monday, July 15, reveals that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) had another close call with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), but she scored the satellite phone and hid it in her purse.

Anna was making out with Valentin when Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) arrived home early from boarding school, so that brought some awkwardness.

Charlotte ultimately apologized for all her scheming against Anna, who teared up and apologized for firing at Charlotte that night, too.

After Charlotte and Anna forgave each other, they shared a hug.

Charlotte also reflected on some kids at school who were struggling and didn’t have a papa like her.

Since Charlotte could see that Valentin was important to Anna, she knew Anna would never hurt him.

Once Anna took off, Charlotte admitted she was glad to see Valentin back together with her.

Although Valentin couldn’t confirm a full-blown reunion, he had a lot of hope for the future.

At Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) house, she gave some gentle encouragement as Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) offered to pay for Jake Webber’s (Hudson West) art school in Spain.

Jason explained why he really wanted to do this and eventually convinced Jake to accept the money, so the father and son embraced in a sweet moment.

After Anna made her way back to Jason’s place, she plugged a laptop into the satellite phone to access all the information.

When Jason came home, he learned Anna scored the phone with all the evidence against Valentin and Pikeman. Jason was eager for her to hand it over, but Anna insisted she couldn’t do that yet.

At Pentonville, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) talked to Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) about the FBI’s recording and her less-than-promising odds in court.

Brennan suggested maybe Carly could avoid a trial entirely by kicking up a fuss in the media, which could shame the FBI into letting her off the hook.

However, Brennan admitted it was risky since it might rile them up even more.

As another option, Brennan said Carly could make sure Jason remained valuable to the FBI – at least long enough to find a way to get rid of the evidence against her.

Once Carly exited, some guys wearing dark suits approached Brennan to say they were ready for him.

In Drew Quartermaine’s (Cameron Mathison) office, he spoke to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) about making him the acting CEO of Aurora due to the campaign.

Drew was willing to fire Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) if Michael had a problem working with her, but Michael didn’t want personal problems to get in the way of business.

Besides, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) was giving Nina another chance, so Michael didn’t want to do anything to hurt his wife.

Michael also played up Drew leading by example and praised him as Willow’s hero for saving her life.

All Michael’s kind words left Drew extremely uncomfortable since he was keeping that Independence Day kiss a secret.

At Crimson, Willow arrived needing to talk to someone, but this was the kind of thing you only tell a mother or a sister.

Since Willow didn’t have a sister to tell, she wanted to come clean to Nina instead.

Willow confessed that she wound up kissing Drew during the fireworks, so Nina was shocked. Although Willow worried about distracting Drew from his campaign, Nina clearly didn’t think Drew was so innocent.

Willow assured Nina that she regretted the betrayal and loved Michael, but she had a special bond with Drew – especially since he helped save her life.

Nina also got updates on Drew saying maybe he could’ve shared something more with Willow under vastly different circumstances.

Since Nina had made her fair share of mistakes and kissed someone she wasn’t supposed to, she understood that these things happen.

Nina thought Willow was being too hard on herself and didn’t see why one fireworks-fueled kiss had to lead to divorce.

That said, Nina advised against telling Michael since she couldn’t make a firm prediction on his reaction.

After Nina urged Willow to treat the kiss as something minor and move on, Willow thanked her for listening and left.

Next on Monday’s GH episode, Nina got Drew on the phone and demanded that he come to her office immediately.

Once Drew showed up fuming over Nina’s order, she whacked him across the face.

“You son of a bitch! You kissed my daughter?!” Nina exclaimed to a stunned Drew.

Back with Willow, she barged in Drew’s office looking for him and found Michael instead.

Willow learned Drew stepped out for a meeting, so she took a moment to remind Michael how much she loved him.

General Hospital spoilers say Willow will keep digging a bigger hole for herself, so don’t miss all the troubling news ahead.
