General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, July 29, reveals that Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) will realize they could be gearing up for a tough legal battle with Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi), who’s refusing to terminate her parental rights.
Kristina will also talk to Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) about making a power play in this potential custody case – and she’ll think the time to act is now.
Of course, Alexis tried to warn Molly and Kristina this surrogacy plan would end in disaster, so they’re definitely proving her prediction accurate.
Nevertheless, Alexis loves them both, so she’ll try to help Kristina and Molly find some path to peace – even if it seems impossible at the moment.
Since Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) warned Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) about Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) going off the rails, Dante will track his dad down and try to get him to cool off.
However, we’re dealing with a bad combination here since Sonny’s furious with John Cates (Adam J. Harrington) and not receiving the medication he needs.
Sonny is taking full placebos thanks to Ava Jerome (Maura West), so his paranoia and emotional outbursts are about to become a bigger problem.
Dante will desperately try to warn Sonny about the chaos he could cause if he acts impulsively, but Sonny will remain armed and ready to strike back at Agent Cates.
At Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) apartment, John will keep trying to convince him that testifying against Sonny is the only solution.
If Jason wants to keep Carly out of prison, John will push him to help with Sonny’s takedown.
Once John wraps up his latest faceoff with Jason, he’ll reconvene with Ava Jerome (Maura West) and fill her in on all the Carly arrest drama.
Ava will want to know John is trustworthy before their alliance goes any further, but he may assure her that he is.
Back at the police station, Carly will get a visit from Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell).
How will Carly react if Michael reveals he’s working with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) to hopefully clear up her legal issues?
Carly may grow concerned about Michael getting into trouble of his own, so she might warn him to be careful.
Since Carly will also have an emotional request, she may ask Michael to take care of Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears) while she’s stuck in police custody.
GH spoilers say Jason will eventually head to the PCPD as well, so he might speak with Carly – both to complain about her turning herself in and to promise that he’s going to figure something out.
Since Jason is hoping to score dirt he can use against Cates, he’ll also turn to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) for help with that at some point.
