General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the next two weeks, January 29 to February 9, reveal that some Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) mayhem is about to heat up. During the week of January 29-February 2, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will realize they’ve followed a fake trail.
Esme isn’t in Toronto like the letter suggested, so Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will panic when she realizes Esme must be headed for Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) in Paris instead.
After Spencer has an amazing dinner with Trina, they’ll hope to take a cruise in a boat on the Seine.
Although Laura will manage to reach out over the phone, the connection will keep breaking up.
Esme will eventually ambush the young lovers, so Spencer will no doubt do everything in his power to keep Trina out of harm’s way.
Unfortunately, Spencer won’t be able to save himself and could get shoved off the boat dock or even the boat itself.
GH spoilers hint that Spencer’s presumed demise is coming up, so that may be the result of him going underwater and never resurfacing.
Nicholas Alexander Chavez’s leave of absence will kick off, so Spencer’s loved ones will probably assume that he drowned.
However, Trina will have a chance to get some payback on Esme, so look for her to fight back in a big way!
Whether Trina pushes Esme into the Seine too or knocks her unconscious while waiting for the police, she’ll indeed show Esme who’s boss.
There’ll be some surprise guests as this Paris drama erupts, so it’ll be interesting to see who else pops up.
Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) may eventually make their way to Paris to support Trina since they’re on the verge of an urgent choice.
Of course, Spencer won’t actually be deceased, so will fans get a glimpse of a mystery character secretly whisking him off somewhere?
Regardless, Laura will be heartbroken over what seems to be Spencer’s demise and will lean on Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) as they discuss how difficult losses like this can be.
Later, someone unexpected will arrive at Laura’s door, so could Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) come back with Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) or will it be someone else instead?
As for Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), she’ll be shocked and crushed when she hears about Spencer’s tragedy.
Josslyn will also work with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) on a plan to help Adam Wright (Joshua Benard), who could definitely use more support after his overdose ordeal.
As for Hamilton Finn’s (Michael Easton) malpractice trial, Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) may withdraw the lawsuit for her client since she’s about to make a major announcement in court – one that’ll come after Dennis Muldoon’s setup is exposed.
At Crimson, Carly will do her best to convince the staff that the magazine will be better than ever without Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros), but they may not be so sure!
Carly will also meet a new customer – presumably at Bobbie’s – so she may be intrigued by this patron and try to get to know them a bit better.
Will this person have some sinister secrets like John Brennan (Charles Mesure) did?
Speaking of Brennan, he’ll meet with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) at Pentonville, but he may not be willing to divulge much to them.
It’d be easy for Brennan to make a demand first, so will he push for a visit with Carly and insist on delivering info to her instead?
Anna and Jordan will have to make some arrangements for another meeting after they talk to Brennan, so they may convince Carly to work with them.
Over with Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), he’ll have some alarming updates for Sonny and Ava Jerome (Maura West). When Ava finds out about a threat that’s in play, she’ll be terrified.
Next, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will conclude their partnership, so all the conflict between them will result in ending their alliance.
As for Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer), she’ll push Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) to talk to her, so we’ll see if they can finally patch things up.
Lois will also have some suggestions when it comes to Chase and Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) wedding, but will they be on board?
During the week of February 5-9, Trina will be an emotional wreck over Spencer’s seemingly grim fate.
It looks like there’ll eventually be plans for a memorial, but will Trina still feel somewhere deep in her heart that Spencer is alive?
Over with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson), they’ll start making some plans to play Cupid for Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) as Valentine’s Day draws near.
Will Michael also have a grand gesture in mind for Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) as he works to mend their fractured marriage?
