General Hospital Recap: Friday, April 12 – Jason’s Metro Court Gift for Carly, Nina Reacts to Tempting Offer

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Friday, April 12, reveals that Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) stood by her claims about Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) sleeping with John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington), but Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) didn’t think she would cheat on Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).

After Drew gave Curtis updates on his split from Carly, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) made it clear that Nina needed to butt out.

Once Curtis was alone with Drew, he found out Drew broke things off with Carly after Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) returned.

Drew insisted it was for the best and hinted about reaching a new understanding with Nina, too.

At the Metro Court, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) told Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) that she had to bow out of being his plus one for the wedding since her appeal was happening at the same time.

Gregory shared a sweet moment with Alexis as he took her hand and stayed positive about her getting her law license back.

Alexis admitted Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) was concerned about the possibility of her mom drinking again.

It left Alexis wondering it all this was worth the risk, but Gregory helped her see the importance of taking chances.

Once Michael summoned Carly, he sat down with her at the Metro Court bar.

Michael explained how Nina had been blabbing about Carly’s night with John, so Carly explained the real situation and how she was on concussion watch.

In Jason’s office, he talked to Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) about getting some of his bank accounts restored and asked if there was enough money to buy back Carly’s half of the Metro Court.

Diane pointed out that Carly would be the real problem since she’d already turned down so many other offers to help achieve that.

Jason insisted he could handle Carly, so Diane agreed to go make an offer and negotiate with Nina.

Once Carly visited Jason with the paralegal’s papers she’d agreed to drop off, she filled him in on John’s attack and how she took care of him afterward.

Carly thought Sonny might’ve sent the thugs after John, but Jason was skeptical.

Although Jason wanted Carly to stay out of all this, she pointed out that could be difficult now that Nina was spreading a false story about her night with John.

It was only a matter of time until Nina spilled to the entire world, including Sonny.

At Crimson, Diane barged in Nina’s office to announce that Jason wanted to buy the Metro Court at three percent above market value.

Nina pushed for 15 percent instead, but she settled on nine percent after some negotiations.

Once Diane said she’d take the news to Jason, Nina pointed out that she’d still need some time to mull it over. Diane said the offer on the table wouldn’t last forever, but Nina insisted Jason could wait.

At the Home and Heart studio, Haven de Haviland (Morgan Fairchild) wasn’t happy to learn Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) wouldn’t be replacing Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) and that Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) planned to do their Deception spot instead.

Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) bickered with Lucy for causing Sasha to quit and creating this difficult situation.

Lucy accused Maxie of being power-hungry and acted like her friendship with Brook Lynn was clouding her judgment on things.

After Haven talked to her producer, she told Maxie and Lucy that Deception’s segment was canceled.

Maxie talked Haven into undoing the decision, so Lucy eventually hit the air and did a terrible job.

As Lucy rambled and brought up being in protective custody last year, Maxie looked like she knew this was turning into a trainwreck.

At the Quartermaine mansion on Friday’s GH episode, Brook Lynn spoke to someone over the phone about replacing Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) truck with an even fancier version.

Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) found out and pumped the brakes since Brook Lynn would be undermining the sacrifice Chase made for their honeymoon.

After Tracy played up Chase’s charming traditional values, she pointed out that Chase was likely raised to believe he should be the breadwinner.

That could present a challenge considering the money Brook Lynn had, but Tracy gave her a pep talk and had faith in her relationship with Chase.

General Hospital spoilers say Brook Lynn and Chase will have to tackle more hurdles as they tie the knot, so stick with us for more predictions on what’s ahead for these two.
