General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Friday, June 14, reveals that Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) showed up at the gallery to audition for the live music gig that Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) mentioned.
Ava Jerome (Maura West) was intrigued over Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) being Gio’s very generous honorary uncle and seemed genuinely impressed with Gio’s skills once he played.
After Ava hired Gio on the spot, she took him in the back to talk numbers. Trina touched Gio’s violin and gushed over him being a true artist when Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) arrived.
Once Gio reappeared and found out the girls were having some apartment hunting trouble, he took them to the apartment over the Quartermaine garage. Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) had urged Gio to take it, but he opted to live at the main house instead since that’s what Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) and Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) wanted.
Gio assumed that since Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) was a Quartemaine, he could make this happen for Josslyn and Trina if they wanted the place.
Trina seemed hesitant since this all felt a little too good to be true, but she ultimately got on board and shared a celebratory moment with Josslyn.
At The Invader, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) asked Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) about her rights if Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) broke up, so Alexis was confused over where all this was coming from.
Kristina explained Molly’s unsettling visit and needed to know where things stood regarding custody of this child if Molly and TJ split.
Alexis refused to take sides, but she did send Kristina links to all her research since she’d had bookmarked since the surrogacy started.
As Kristina headed out, Alexis made a prediction about the consequences if Kristina decided to break her promises to TJ and Molly.
At home, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) woke up startled and clearly had a hangover. Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) noticed Finn was exceptionally thirsty as he downed plenty of water.
Although Violet was ready for their trip to the pool, Finn didn’t remember promising to take her. Violet explained that Finn said he’d take her after his nap, so he suggested they’d indeed go and spend some time not being sad over Grandpa Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison).
Once Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) met up with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), she gave him updates on how she caught Finn drunk with a random woman he’d taken back to his apartment.
Chase was sorry about Liz’s pain and understood why she broke things off under the circumstances. Since Chase was determined to help Finn, Elizabeth mentioned that she didn’t think Finn had gotten a new sponsor after his old one left town a year ago.
As for Violet and the plan for her summer camp experience at the Quartermaine residence, Liz agreed to pay Finn another visit and try to get him on board.
Next on Friday’s B&B episode, Elizabeth showed up at Finn’s place and offered to take Violet to the pool instead. Liz also thought Violet could come home with her tonight, but Finn fumed over the obvious wellness check.
While Violet was getting the mail down in the lobby, Finn suspected Chase put Liz up to this and made it clear that Violet was staying with him. Once Violet returned, Finn told Elizabeth goodbye and shut the door on her.
Back in Alexis’ office, Chase shared his concerns over Finn and was shocked to learn Finn slipped up on his sobriety at the wedding reception. That was before Gregory’s demise sent him on this downward spiral.
Although Alexis couldn’t get into the details of what went on at AA, Chase managed to figure out that Finn hadn’t been attending meetings at GH.
Since Chase was worried about Violet, Alexis agreed to speak with Finn and see what she could do.
Once Congressman Larry McConkey (Sam McMurray) showed up in Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) office looking for an answer about his Congress seat, Drew officially agreed to run for it and shook hands with McConkey.
Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) interrupted and got the news about Drew’s political career, so she suggested it was a good idea – though she did briefly mention Drew’s legal issues.
Drew scolded Nina once McConkey was gone, but she pushed him to relax since she still endorsed him. What Nina really needed was a favor since it was Willow Corinthos’ (Katelyn MacMullen) birthday and she wasn’t sure if a gift would be pushing too hard.
After Drew pointed out that Michael was throwing a party for Willow, he hinted about working something out for Nina if she could play it cool and follow his instructions.
General Hospital spoilers say Nina’s on the verge of a major victory when it comes to her relationship with Willow, so stick with the ABC soap. CDL will have other sizzling General Hospital spoilers, predictions, updates and news, so make us your favorite GH hotspot.
