General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Friday, May 10, reveals that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) told Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue) about saying the wrong thing to Ava Jerome (Maura West), who stormed off and might be packing her bags.
After Sonny explained that Ava was upset about being left out of an event, Natalia understood and hinted about feeling excluded from the wedding that Blaze aka Allison Rogers (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) was attending.
Sonny realized Natalia was talking about Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) nuptials, so he invited Natalia to come as his plus one and was pleased when she accepted.
Meanwhile, Ava showed up to see the pharmacist who supplied Sonny with his prescriptions.
As Ava pretended Sonny was her husband, she acted like she wanted more info about his pills since they were taking a long trip and he needed to stock up.
After the pharmacist checked into the bottle Ava offered, he said Sonny had four refills left.
Ava also fished to find out if Sonny’s new drug was safe and wondered what would happen if he took a lower dosage than he should.
The pharmacist admitted Sonny’s behavior could be affected, but he joked that people in that situation don’t become ax murderers overnight.
That said, the pharmacist felt that Sonny and his doctor would be in a better position to address Ava’s concerns.
Once Sonny met up with Ava at the penthouse, she apologized for her outburst earlier and claimed she was embarrassed.
Ava also felt that maybe she’d overstayed her welcome, but Sonny liked having Avery there and made it clear that he wasn’t asking for anything to change.
When Ava questioned how Sonny felt about her living there as well, he acted like he liked having company.
However, Sonny eventually mentioned that he was taking Natalia as his wedding date and left Ava looking unsettled.
After Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) summoned Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) to her office, she asked how things were going. Dex was more convinced than ever that he was meant to be a cop and praised Chase for taking him under his wing.
Since Chase invited Dex to attend his wedding, Anna hoped to see him there and ultimately shifted the conversation to Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).
Dex didn’t think Dante would consciously do anything to protect Sonny, but he had also seen their father-son bond firsthand.
Once Dex suggested Dante saw what he wanted to see when it came to Sonny, Anna appreciated his perspective.
In the park on Friday’s B&B episode, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) told Dante about Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) confession, which involved being forced into becoming an FBI informant and working for John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington).
Dante remembered something about the FBI informant situation from when he first woke up in the hospital.
Since Jason was working for Agent Cates, Dante realized why Sonny would view that as a betrayal.
Sam didn’t want Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) to lose his father again, so she thought they should help Jason and suggested finding out what the FBI’s leverage was.
Although Dante pushed Sam to remove herself from the situation, she refused.
Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) also ran into Dex in the park while they were both out for a run, so they wound up racing.
Dex got updates on Josslyn changing her major to environmental science and shared that things were going well with his cop training.
As Josslyn and Dex parted ways, they admitted it was good to see each other.
At Corinthos Coffee, John demanded to know what Jason had told Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) since she showed up to see Brennan at Pentonville.
Jason swore he hadn’t spilled anything that would put Carly at risk and had no idea why she visited Brennan.
John pushed Jason to get some answers, so Jason met with Anna alone later and revealed that he suspected Carly had eavesdropped.
Anna was alarmed over the news that Carly visited Brennan since it looked like he previously planned to kidnap her.
If Carly had divulged the fact that the FBI was investigating Pikeman, Anna offered a prediction about Carly making their job harder.
Based on everything Anna knew about Brennan, giving him information was the most dangerous thing you could do.
After Anna said they needed to figure out what Carly shared with Brennan, Jason pointed out that Cates thought so, too.
That said, Jason couldn’t be the one to quiz Carly since she knew him too well and would become even more suspicious.
Jason knew Carly would want to get more involved and couldn’t risk that, so Anna vowed to talk to her instead.
General Hospital spoilers say Anna and Carly have a heated showdown coming up, so don’t miss all the action.
