General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Thursday, April 4, reveals that Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) had her wellness check with Terry Randolph (Cassandra James), who looked over her test results and thought everything seemed to be in order.
However, Terry suggested Tracy might be depressed based on some other symptoms she mentioned.
Tracy refused to see a shrink and acted like she was still grieving Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary), but Terry still thought she should get active with something fulfilling.
Meanwhile, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) gave Blaze aka Allison Rogers (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) positive updates on Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) before talk turned to Blaze’s new Deception modeling contract.
Blaze admitted it all happened quickly, so she assured Kristina that she wasn’t trying to keep anything from her.
Since Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue) thought it was best to keep Blaze’s private life under wraps, Blaze hoped that wouldn’t be a problem for Kristina.
As long as they could be their authentic selves around their family and friends, that was good enough for Kristina.
Blaze admitted she would’ve been willing to back out of the deal if Kristina objected since Kristina made her happy.
At Bobbie’s, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) helped Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) take some slow steps inside using his cane.
Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and the other patrons gave Curtis a round of applause, so he seemed surprised and touched over the gesture.
Once Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) appeared and sat at a table across the restaurant, Curtis gave Josslyn a nudge to serve him since that’s what Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) would want.
There was tension as Josslyn approached Dex for his order. Once Josslyn saw Dex’s employment packet, she realized he was applying for a job at the PCPD.
Josslyn acted like this was a terrible idea and that it’d make Dex even more of a target as far as Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was concerned.
Dex said they couldn’t all be doctors and questioned Josslyn’s look after he made the comment.
Josslyn wound up admitting she wasn’t so sure about her pre-med major anymore and eventually gave Dex a burnt grilled cheese.
Back with Trina, she opened up to Curtis about her lingering sadness over Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez), but Curtis felt certain that Trina would find love again.
At the hospital, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) took Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) with her to Terry’s office since Alexis was covering a story for The Invader.
Mayor Collins needed at least one chief of staff to sign off on putting city employees on GH’s healthcare plan.
Terry praised Laura and handled the official documentation, but she was unsure of what to say for Alexis’ news story.
Alexis offered a statement that she’d prepared, but Terry suddenly seemed hesitant to use it and said she’d have PR handle it.
In Heather Webber’s (Alley Mills) room, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) objected when she realized Heather had slipped out of her restraints, so she got a nurse to put them back on her.
Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) also came to see Heather for another mental health evaluation since he’d been doing some following her hip replacement surgery.
During that conversation, Heather seemed saner as well as sadder about her prison sentence.
Kevin encouraged Heather to describe what she’d do if she were released, so Heather got emotional over wanting a house with a yard for Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) to play in.
Heather didn’t see the point in torturing herself over things that couldn’t happen, so Kevin ended their session since she was getting weepy.
A little later, Laura also paid a visit to Heather, who cried over turning her life into such a disaster.
Kevin sought Alexis’ legal expertise on the possibility of post-conviction relief, which could change things for Heather due to the cobalt poisoning affecting her behavior.
Laura backed up Kevin’s assessment since she thought Heather seemed better following the procedure.
When Portia overheard and realized they might let Heather skate by on all the terror she caused, she vowed to fight this with every breath in her body!
In the Quartermaine stables, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) took a call from Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) about Dante’s release and the unfinished dinner in the kitchen, so Sasha managed to whip up a Shepard’s pie.
Olivia was impressed once she found it and came running down to the stables to see who made the dish.
Sasha admitted she did, so Olivia was eager to share it with Dante, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and the kids.
Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) hugged Sasha over Dante getting released and praised her hidden culinary talent as well.
Tracy also made it to the Quartermaine stables at one point and found Cody shirtless while he worked.
Once Tracy urged Cody to cover up, she made arrangements to start riding again to lift her spirits.
Tracy headed in the Quartermaine kitchen, where she seemed both amused and annoyed as she found her birthday cake.
