General Hospital Recap: Thursday, January 25 – Maggie’s Letter to Esme – Kevin Rushed to GH – Jordan’s Flirty Deal

General Hospital (GH) recap for Thursday, January 25, reveals that Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) tried to treat Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) to a romantic evening at The Savoy, but she wanted an apology first since he had gloated so aggressively about Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) takedown.

Robert wasn’t sorry for treating Sonny like the criminal he is, but Diane felt that Robert had an unprofessional vendetta with her client. After Diane admitted Sonny was one of her closest friends, she wondered if Robert could accept that.

Diane pointed out that Robert was able to overlook many of Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Holly Sutton’s (Emma Samms) past actions.

In the end, Robert suggesting leaving Sonny and their clients in the courtroom, so Diane smiled and seemed pleased over that solution.

Meanwhile, Sonny joined Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) at the bar and learned she’d been trying to respect boundaries with Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) since she overstepped recently.

Sonny thought that was a good thing and urged Alexis not to worry since Kristina and Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) were moving forward with their surrogacy plans regardless.

At Kristina’s place, TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) was thrilled to learn about the positive pregnancy test.

After TJ gushed to Molly and Kristina about the baby, he started to fret over getting so excited after what happened last time.

Kristina insisted that no matter what went down, they’d tackle it as a team and that she could always try again if and when the parents-to-be were ready.

At Jordan Ashford’s (Tanisha Harper) place, she welcomed Brick (Stephen A. Smith) inside and buttered him up a bit since she needed someone discreet with tech prowess to help with a project.

Brick flirted with Jordan, who explained that she had a contact that was supposed to offer info, but that contact may have broken things off due to an intervention of the federal kind.

Jordan annoyed Brick by refusing to offer more details, but he liked the idea of the deputy mayor owing him a favor.

Brick planned to look into the contact’s whereabouts and needed Jordan’s phone number, so he seemed pleased to have that number as he left.

Jordan looked thoughtful over the flirty exchange after she shut the door behind Brick.

Back at Kristina’s place, Sonny and Alexis arrived along with Jordan since Kristina, Molly and TJ had an announcement to make. Once Kristina spread the pregnancy news, Alexis insisted she was happy for all of them.

Before Alexis could help celebrate with a bottle of nonalcoholic bubbly, she got called away for a crisis at her office.

Sonny let Kristina know he was proud of her and hinted that she could always come to him since the road ahead wouldn’t be easy.

At GH, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) gave Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) another pep talk ahead of his trial before Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) showed up as requested.

Martin got updates on Finn and Liz speaking with the doctor that Mr. Muldoon saw in Beechers Corners.

Liz and Finn got enough information to confirm there was likely an oncologist that Mr. Muldoon spoke with, but they didn’t have a name.

Martin decided to get Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) to investigate and said if Mr. Muldoon already had an inkling about his cancer, it could help Finn’s case.

After Martin mentioned Finn’s upcoming testimony, he once again stressed the importance of only answering the questions asked.

Once Martin was gone, Liz mentioned that the boys were at sleepovers tonight, so she invited Finn over to her place for dinner and music.

At the PCPD, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) told Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) the details of her conversation with Heather Webber (Alley Mills).

Laura insisted they had to arrest Esme Prince (Avery Pohl), but Dante couldn’t do that without a warrant.

Dante ultimately got an ADA to start working on one and suggested a way to buy some time until Robert could reinstate the charges against Esme.

If Dante could get Esme down there on false pretenses and get her to spill something about her past crimes, they might be able to hold her for 24 hours until Robert could come through for them.

Laura insisted they had to contain Esme and wanted the chance to talk her off the ledge.

After Dante, Chase and Laura went off looking for Esme, they eventually made it to The Invader. Laura panicked when she saw Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) unconscious, but she found a pulse as they waited for an ambulance.

Esme quickly became the primary suspect in the attack on Kevin as Chase found the sculpture used to whack him along with a letter from Maggie Fitzgerald (Heather Olt).

That letter from Esme’s former nanny indicated that Maggie had taken a job with a new family in Toronto – and Esme’s credit card info showed that she’d booked a one-way bus ticket there.

Alexis answered Chase’s questions while Kevin was rushed to the hospital, where a doctor told Laura that he was stable. Laura was tearful as she visited Kevin’s bedside and urged him to come back to her.

Laura also left Spencer a voicemail urging him to return her call regarding Esme and quizzed Dante about the Toronto clues.

General Hospital spoilers say Esme will continue to wreak havoc, so stay tuned for on all the chaos that’s brewing.
