General Hospital Recap: Tuesday, February 6 – Michael Wires Dex Money for Risky Job – Brick Reveals Sonny's Suspect

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Tuesday, February 6, reveals that Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) came clean to Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) about manipulating him into breaking up with Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring).

Martin got updates on Lucy’s scheme with Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) and how Tracy retaliated, so he was furious and wondered why Tracy was admitting all this now.

Tracy looked over at Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison), who was on a phone call nearby, so it was obvious he was the reason.

Later, Tracy told Gregory that his influence was making her soft, but he didn’t see why that was such a bad thing.

When Tracy put her foot in her mouth about Gregory not having to live with the consequences, Gregory burst out laughing and appreciated her talking to him like a normal person.

At the barn set for the photoshoot, Lucy and Scott had a roll in the hay in more ways than one. After the deed was done, Scott and Lucy were visibly disheveled with hay all in their hair.

Lucy acted like what happened was a mistake, but Scott pointed out that they were both single and hinted that maybe this was their time. That led to Lucy admitting she was more herself with Scott than anyone else.

When Martin arrived to try and win Lucy back, he caught her in a close moment with Scott and could tell from their messy appearances what had gone down between them.

Martin explained the situation with Tracy, but he ultimately stood by his decision to dump Lucy and didn’t think he ever wanted to see her again.

Lucy beat herself up for hooking up with Scott so soon after her breakup and ordered Scott to leave, so he took off.

In Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) office, he got a visit from Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and was alarmed over someone trying to take Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) out on the island.

Michael said this is exactly why he wanted Dex working for him behind the scenes – so Dex could let him know when things were spiraling out of control for Sonny.

Michael wanted Dex to do some investigating since this was likely an inside job, but Dex was a little concerned about Sonny suspecting he was the traitor.

However, Michael wired some money into Dex’s account for the additional risk and downplayed the idea that Sonny would ever find out about Dex having ulterior motives in the beginning.

At Sonny’s penthouse, Brick (Stephen A. Smith) was in disbelief over his boss questioning him like a suspect, but Sonny eventually admitted he didn’t really believe Brick was responsible.

Brick acknowledged that he’d be questioning everyone in Sonny’s position too and confessed to doing a favor for Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper), who now owed him one in return.

After Brick suggested looking at those in the closest position of protecting Sonny, he really focused on Dex as a suspect.

Sonny felt like Dex had stepped up and proven himself, but Brick thought maybe Dex set it up to look like a hero and gain even more access.

Brick planned to do some digging into Dex and wondered what would happen if Sonny was wrong about him. With a stern glare, Sonny made it clear that Dex would beg for mercy if that was the case.

At the PCPD, Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) caught up with John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington) before pushing him to drop the charges against Jordan and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).

John resisted at first, but he eventually agreed to Robert’s wishes as long as Anna and Jordan cooperated as well as stopped digging.

Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) got the scoop from Jordan and Anna on how they landed in a jail cell before meeting John, who realized Dante was Sonny’s son.

As for Robert, he had good news and bad news as he approached Anna and Jordan behind bars.

Although Jordan and Anna could walk free, they couldn’t keep obstructing the FBI’s investigation and looking into things themselves.

Anna acknowledged that she wasn’t law enforcement and decided it was time to accept Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) offer, so she surprised John by announcing she was the new police commissioner.

General Hospital spoilers say Anna will force John to work with her, so don’t miss what’s next!
