General Hospital spoilers tease Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is wracked with guilt, after sending Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) away with Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) on the run. Anna did it for Charlotte’s safety when she became aware of a target on Valentin’s back, and now she might have to deliver the news they both are dead!
General Hospital Spoilers: Laura’s Asking Questions, Lulu Will Make Demands!
Before Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins) liver transplant, her life was in danger-after she had laid in a coma for four years, and Anna made a promise.
She promised Laura Collins (Genie Francis) she’d find Charlotte and bring her back to see Lulu, even if it was a final goodbye; but in spite of Anna’s efforts, they’re still missing.
Was Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) telling Anna the truth, that he didn’t know where they were, or was he lying-she suspected his release from Pentonville was related.
She wondered if Jack put them into witness protection, as well but nothing could be proven.
And now Laura’s asking questions, Lulu is awake and she will make demands!
GH Spoilers: Charlotte & Valentin Lost and Found
Anna has been checking with old contacts she’s had with the WSB and basically gone over Brennan’s head, and no one’s seen them in Europe or Canada.
Anna thought perhaps they may be hiding in one of the Cassadine properties where they had previously searched for Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss), but nothing.
Wyndemere’s no more, and searches under the Cassadine compounds elsewhere, are fruitless; and searches of the Port Charles tunnels brought back nothing.
Most of the Port Charles catacombs have now collapsed, and the same with the rest of the Cassadine compounds; in fact, after Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) death, even Cassadine Island’s bare.
Anna learns after the drone strikes on the Haunted Star that the Cassadine compound on Cassadine Island was bombed as well-she even checked the Canadian compound-nothing!
General Hospital Spoilers: Finally, Some Answers – But Not The Ones She’d Hoped
Finally Anna gets some answers, although they are certainly not the ones she’d hoped for-she finds an obituary listing in an obscure village in Russia.
Anna knows that Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) was Russian, her maiden name was Romanov-and she was Valentin’s mother.
She also knows that Valentin could have faked his and Charlotte’s deaths as a part of staying hidden; but checking with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) she’s heard nothing from Charlotte either.
It’s a long shot but all she’s got-an obituary for a father and daughter, named Valentin and Charlotte Romanov – is this a typical Valentin fake-out?
Anna’s wracked with guilt, but she may have to deliver news of presumed death to Laura and Lulu – until graves are found to exhume for proof of death and identity.
