General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that fans can feel the writing shift that’s playing out now that Chris Van Etten is back in the co-head writer gig alongside Elizabeth Korte. It certainly seems like Korte and Etten were given a directive to wrap up certain stories quickly.
For example, Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) med swap was suddenly revealed through that contrived situation of Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears) taking her daddy’s “vitamins.”
It led to the speedy exposure of the fact that Sonny was taking placebos.
Now GH’s preview video for the August 12 episode points to another possible fast wrap-up, so let’s discuss some news related to it.
In the clip, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) pushes Blaze aka Allison “Allie” Rogers (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) to grab her chance while Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue) begs Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) to let her daughter go.
It sounds like there’ll be some incredible tour offer that Blaze simply can’t pass up – at least not if she wants to get her career back on track.
This offer may drop right into Blaze’s lap and leave her conflicted.
Blaze will hate the thought of abandoning Kristina while she’s grieving, but that’s where Natalia will come in.
Natalia will worry that Blaze won’t embrace this opportunity without a breakup to nudge her in that direction.
Of course, Kristina is still devastated over the loss of her baby girl, so she doesn’t think her future is bright.
It’s easy to imagine Kristina agreeing that she can’t hold Blaze back.
Kristina may think Blaze will be miserable if she sticks around since Kristina just can’t be the same girlfriend she was before.
Since Kristina is feeling lost, she may just need to find her own path alone for a while.
General Hospital spoilers reveal that Kristina will make a choice that’s bittersweet in the aftermath of Natalia’s visit.
As much as it’ll pain Kristina to say goodbye, she may take comfort in knowing that Blaze is going to spread her wings and soar.
All signs point to Kristina breaking up with Blaze and pushing her to leave town on this new tour.
That could mean Blaze is headed off-screen – and Natalia may leave too since her daughter was her main reason for being in Port Charles.
